hello mate i am currently on very first version, is there any guide or could you tell me how can i get to version 3.021, f900bt UK, my current version is 2.009, map version 1.0000.. something like that. please tell me how to update it to version 3.021 or the latest firmware. thanks my systems never been updated before, also i have took my backup incase something goes wrong. thanks

im stuck with mine, i also noticed that too. it says f700 not f900, have you sorted your systems problem?

just deleted them files, the junk was only the different languages so i deleted them all apart from english uk and english uk2 just as how it was in the back up. it did nothing, also disconnected gps that didn't solve the problem. i think im doing something wrong, way too wrong.

tail24 - thanks for your reply, i have now given up after wasting a full week. i used SDMLC for euro how i know that its for euro is as you say the EW in the name. i managed to download a euro backup of f900bt & someone also on here sent me their copy, thanks to 'ovalball', i tried both copies but no luck. how i know its for euro is all the maps are of European countries when i check the folders. i followed all the same procedures, dont get any errors when installing but when completed it still says 'system startup in process please wait' then reboots after 5 mins approx. dont kno

yes im using mac, but i can surely say that i have formatted the SD card properly in FAT 32 through disk utility the proper way. but unless theres another reason ?? thanks please do let me know

on tuesday i turned my car on avic f900BT - splash screen came up and then it was stuck, i noticed it later on that the screen was black and i couldn't do anything. i followed so many threads, did literally everything but no hope now it turns on fine and everything but system startup is process doesn't go and after 4 mins it reboots. just to let you know im from UK/EU and system was working fine until tuesday. obviously i didn't have my backup of flash drive so i had used it from online, i've also downloaded a torrent of avic files tried it out but doesn't work. i think i am using US f

thanks i will start downloading now and update you on here, but is any of the files above ^ not for UK because i used everything as explained but i still get system startup in process please wait' and then it reboots. because if the torrent has same files i dont think it will solve the problem, thanks for your reply

my avic f900bt went dead and showed me a black screen on which i couldnt do anything. i have tried so many posts, followed them but nothing seems to work. my system is now on v.3 but system startup n process' doesn't go and then after like 5mins it reboots. please help me i dont know what to do its making me insane and wasting so much of my time. please help me
