update... again... I have contacted the seller ... they are sending me another charger convertor... seems that the one I got is defective... I will update later as soon as I get it

update.... after using it for a few minutes I noticed that if I unplug the mini USB charger it will continue charging the iPhone as expected. But it will NOT charge the iPhone unless I plug in the mini-usb charger... once is plugged-in I can unplug it and it keeps charging...

so... I received the Ridax port adapter yesterday.... some pics here: http://picasaweb.google.com/serverleade ... ortAdapter this apapter DID NOT WORK FOR ME on MY AVIC-Z1 (updated to Z3)..... the only way that it charged was pluging in a mini-usb charger to the adapter as shown in the pictures.

same problem with my 06 350z..... no solution... i just don't listen to radio anymore.... Darn Ipod adapter won't charge my iphone either! pioneer sucks...

I totally understand your point... but i said that because: time = money (in my case) and i'm offering it because i'm trying to recover at least part of the cost of the F$#@! dvd update.. (that can't be re-used)

yeah ... I tried doing that but i ended wasting more money than just going strait and get the DVD (i learned)....... (also i'm to lazy) with this option is just slide out the old harddrive slide in the new harddrive and done...

I tried that... it didn't work since when doing the update you have to enter a special code that can be only used once from their website... if someone wants I can send you a new 60gb (37gb free for music) harddrive which will update your z1 to z2, update the bluetooth and do wire by pass.. for $150. let me know if interested...
