  1. Yeah I was expecting to just plug in my USB too, but I got it working, so I'm happy with the results. It took some trial and error from my Mac but it worked in the end.
  2. SO, if it's not from an American website, it doesn't work? It doesn't matter where it's from. The update works.
  3. Here is the link to the fix. http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/support/software/AVH-P8400BT/page.html#download_310
  4. They finally released it. http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/support/software/AVH-P8400BT/page.html#download_310
  5. Just did the update and got all functions back, like track info. Woohoo. About time. Here's the link to the UK download. I'm in the US and it worked fine on my AVH-P8400BT. You can also download it on the US site but they made it hard to find. http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/support/software/AVH-P8400BT/page.html Also, I was able to install it on my unit with my MacBook Pro's Bluetooth Connection even though the instructions don't say how to.
  6. All you have to do is insert your blank cd, when it pops up on your desktop, double click, create a folder named, Pictures. Create another folder named whatever you want and place at least 100mb worth of data, not music or pictures in that folder. Click burn at the top right corner of the window. Let it do its thing, it will automatically finalize it. Put it in your Avic and changed the pictures.
  7. when I backup my avic z2 hard drive I only end up with a 7.61 GB .tib file, what am I doing wrong. I'm using Acrnis True Image?

  10. Did you get the wire harness from crutchfield it makes it a whole hell of a lot easier. I did not have this problem, my amps work fine.
  11. Well I was feelin lazy but I got off my ass and looked. I ran a wire over to the headlight switch and it is the yellow/blue wire, pin 2, on the headlight switch. The cover just pulls out.
