  1. I'm downloading when I can. I've been mobil for several days and haven't been able to keep the torrent running
  2. Resolved. Somehow I reversed the ends of the IP-Bus cable during installation. The blue end of it was at the XM tuner module, so I just matched colors by attaching it to the blue plug, which was the IP-Bus IN. I looked closely and realized that wasn't correct, switched it to the IP-Bus OUT plug, and now have full audio. Of course, this oversight was realized when I was getting ready to deinstall it and install the replacement I purchased! Hopefully I can sell it on the interwebz and not loose too much...
  3. Good day. I have a Z1 w/ Z3 software and the GEX-P10XMT installed in my car. I get the data feed to the radio, including station, song, radio serial number, etc., but do not get any audio. This unit was previously installed in another car and worked fine. It has not worked after installing it in my new car. I have verified that both cables are properly connected to the radio and XM module. The only "concern" I have occured during deinstallation of the unit from my old car. It was double-sided taped to the car's frame on the center hump. I had to use a bit of force to ge
  4. I have edited my previous post with the new RS links. No password this time.
  5. I will re-rar the files and re-upload, but it will take a day to get them up. Uploading is very slow
  6. I see my rapidshare uploads have been downloaded by a numerous people. How is it working? Any problems? Sometimes the .rar files get corrupted, especially when the original files are so large
  7. Seemed to be a problem in my camera. I've had power issues in the car that I had to resolve with a battery replacement. My camera is tapped into a wire that's always hot, so I think the fluky power supply must have messed it up. I power-cycled it by removing the fuse and the problem was resolved.
  8. Anyone else experience their backup camera is now mirrored from what it was before the upgrade? I had to cut a tiny jumper loop on the camera during install to reverse the image so it'd be appropriate to view and use to back up, and now there's no way I'll be able to solder it back.
  9. Which bypass do you have? I have a Z2 upgraded w/ Garrets Z3 drive and had the two wire bypass. After the update, that bypass was still effective. I did not have to copy any individual files.
  10. Got mine updated. Has some newer roads, but not ones that were opened in March. At least only one way of my commute now has me driving on water from the bridge missing in the maps.
  11. Download free version of WinRAR from http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm to join & extract the files.

  13. I have uTorrent shut down while I upload to RapidShare. I don't like torrents; I'll spread the wealth elsewhere.
  14. I had the .rar file almost done, but I pulled the plug out of my laptop with my foot. I've got it running again and hopefully I'll have the archive ready for upload before I go to work tonight. What a donkey I am.
  15. Is it posted on Rapidshare? Thx It will probably be another day. I just finished DLing the torrent. Now I have to make it into RAR files, and upload to RS which takes forever. Will advise you.
  16. You can get a very inexpensive USB 2.5"HDD enclosure that will allow you to do this. You can get them at Best Buy. They're like $30.
  17. I reset it by holding the MAP button down when booting, and that seems to have resolved the issue.
  18. I took my Z2/3 out today to hook up the PAC steering wheel remote. Doing this required complete removal of the unit. Every wire was unplugged. When hooked back up, I'm getting a bad GPS location; about 1 mile east of where I actually am. I pulled it all back out, confirmed it's all plugged in, and no wires cut. When I check it's connection status in the menus, It says "OK" and there are four satellites in orange. It never goes above 4. I did have all but 1 lit up at one time on a wide open road. I did a reset by pressing the button on the front, and also "restore facto
  19. Got mine from a forum member, and it works great. Don't chance it with ebay junk. http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14915 http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16080
  20. Weird stuff. After a few days, each of which includes several trips and subsequent boots of the headunit, they condensed and the title / track information reverted back to that which was on the CD. It definitely wasn't provided by Gracenote; it's a very new CD. Odd, but resolved.
