Does the x930 have a similar "SRC" source button on it to change between CD, XM, Ipod, FM? I know you can change the source by selecting it on the screen, but you have to actually LOOK at the screen and figure out what Icon you want to select it... not very handy while trying to keep your eyes on the road. So I was wondering if there was a simple way to switch sources without having to use the screen interface. Thanks.

I have an Avic D2 and the screen has died so I was going to pick up the X930BT but was wondering if my SIRPNR2 for XM Radio would still work with the new unit? Also will the GPS and XM antenna need to be re-run again or will the old ones work with the new unit? Thanks for any help!

If you use Alcohol it will burn the MDF file.

So I have successfully burned the East and West discs. I used Memorex Dual Layer media and Alchol 120 for the burns. Now here's the thing. East for some reason burned just fine, but West did not. Same procedure on both burns, but when I tried using the West DVD the unit did work, but I was unable to enter addresses as if the parking brake was disengaged. I thought it might have been the same issue with the Z1 when the firmware update caused the bypass to no longer work (I have done the bypass on my Avic D2) but that was not the case since the East disc works perfectly. Ok so I found out how to downgrade on here. I downgraded back to the older discs and everything works just fine. I suppose I will try to do another burn and upgrade and see if it will work this time, but I'm not hopeful. Thanks for all your help guys.

I tried putting in the old disc but it gave me a disk error. Said to insert correct disk.

Just tried the reset. It still doesn't work. The reset did clear everything including my destination history but still doesn't work.

Thanks guys I'll try the reset. As for the zone thing I can't even get to to that screen because I can't enter an address. That's why I thought it might be the bypass thing because it behaves as if the parking brake isn't engaged. All the buttons for navigation are grayed out. As far as I've read on this board I believe the D3 uses different discs, but don't hold me to that I'm not certain.

I used Alcohol to burn it, and as I wrote, when I put the new disk in the firmware updated and showed a successful screen. After that it rebooted and everything seems to work except for my ability to enter addresses. If it were a bad burn I would suspect it would give me a disc error. I read a thread that someone with a Z1 had to change the way he bypassed his unit AFTER he updated the firmware with a new disc.
