i recently put in a d3 unit in my silverado with the help of a friend who already installed a d2 in his 04 silverado. The problem im having is im not sure if i used the correct adapter for my setup...I have a 07 crewcab silverado classic body style with the non lux bose system, no onstar, and rear seat audio controls. I used the metra gmos-04 adapter and it didnt seem like it was working right as it would crackle and pop after the ignition was shut off, and the chimes wouldnt work???
