I did the same as @Datsun above however did so with the unit in the car. Overall process to cut the slot and swap cards was 15 minutes which included setting up the dremel and laying out the slot. Here's how I did it: Start unit and press eject then select SD. Once the face slides down, unplug the negative battery terminal to the vehicle.
