  1. There are a couple brands of 12V ATSC M/H receivers out there (check Amazon, eBay) for $100 - $200. (If you don't know, ATSC M/H is the new digital mobile TV format that works even while in motion). Has anyone installed one yet? Any suggestions? There are now 3 or 4 stations in the Dallas area broadcasting in this new format, so I'm thinking about getting one. I'm sure the rest of the "normal" stations will be on there soon.
  2. Here's the link to current ATSC-MH channels: http://www.rabbitears.info/market.php?request=atscmph It looks like it's constantly being updated. Good Info.
  3. Yea, I found that list too, but I can't locate it now. Only NBC is broadcasting in Dallas currently. I'll probably get the Boyo VT-MH unit (available from Crutchfield and elsewhere online), but I'm gonna wait until at least a couple more channels are broadcasting. This is the same format being used for mobile devices like smartphones & laptops with no TV tuner, so I'm sure more and more stations will jump onboard. I hear more than 20 markets should be up and running by the end of 2011.
  4. Any specific model suggestions? I have the Nitro digital TV tuner installed now, which as you said, works OK when parked, but I'd sure like to have a unit that works while driving.
  5. I made this screen for the startup screen on my D3. It's yours if you want it. Yankees 2009 Champs!
  6. I'm thinking of getting this same Pyle TV tuner since Pioneer has no plans to make an ATSC digital TV tuner for cars (I asked). How is the reception? Do you recommend this unit?
  7. Buy a cheap OEM radio off eBay or something, take it apart, & glue the buttons in place. I mounted my D3 about 1/4" inset from being flush, cause I planned on making a fake decoy. I love it - it gives me peace of mind when out.
  8. I used a Honda factory radio to make a fake cover too in my Element. http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums ... 469&page=6 Gives me peace of mind when out and about.
  9. I guess I could, but that'd take up a lot more disc space. Oh well. One more thing we can feedback to Pioneer for the next model.
  10. I just loaded a DVD full of MP3's. It plays on the D3 fine, but the album art is not displayed, like it does on Windows Media Player, MusicMatch, etc. Can the D3 show the album art from MP3's? Does it matter if its a CD-R, CD-RW, or DVD-R? That would be cool if it can display this.
  11. It works fine with my Katana.
  12. Wasn't that bad for my Honda. Took a couple tries to figure out what the instructions actually meant, but I have no complaints.
  13. Thanks Paisan. Too bad the logos weren't imbedded in the XM signal. That's be the best scenario. Maybe someday.
  14. Do you have tweeters in the A-Pillars? The amp (if you have one) is behind the passenger's side kick panel. Do you have an LX or EX? Here's some pics of my D3 install:
