  1. Anyone else getting a decryption error when the file finishes downloading?
  2. pionara your launcher method works great! iGO works no problem after detecting the gps port in the settings. Also for you guys out there that want to watch video, get TCPMP installed and you'll be set. Thanks pionara for all your hard work and research!
  3. Thanks Pionara! Worked like a charm. For everyone doing this don't forget to copy the volume.dat file from the update and replace the one on your flash. If you don't you will have an error when loading up the 2.001.
  4. They are just an extract from the WINCEIMG file. It serves no purpose unless you want to attempt to modify the windows CE files for your 1.003 update. You can attempt to do it but one wrong move and you'll most likely brick your unit. Without testmode it really isn't worth messing around with the flash. As of right now we need to figure out how to get the ID file to boot testmode. From what I've seen it is looking for a exp090.key.
  5. sorry guys the password is avic411 completely forgot I put a pass on it.
  6. I went through the update and managed to extract the contents from WINCEIMG.bin (thanks to carver for info) Here are the dumps of the eboot and wince42 nb0 files http://www.mediafire.com/?zjxmyjwoewi <-- Eboot http://www.mediafire.com/?ki2izmn0miy <-- wince42 Pass: avic411
  7. Superjet: I've went through the process of disconnecting sd, usb, ipod, bluetooth... and still it freezes when it wants to. Even a reset to factory defaults didn't help out either. I tested running the unit without the battery in... even then no luck. It stayed at the "system preparing" screen.
  8. Hey Guys, I just picked up the unit today and I'm having the exact same issue. I've noticed that leaving my ipod plugged in makes the unit freeze when starting the car. Try leaving any USB device unplugged and see if that works for you. Either pioneer has a bunch of faulty units out there or it is a firmware bug.
