I am absolutely fed up with the S1, having a terrible POI database and even worse navigation that seems to try and take the longest route possible every time. If I can get step-by-step directions on loading a cracked version of TomTom for Pocket PC on an SD card and have it autostart, that would be fantastic. I would gladly pay Pioneer for a decent map / software update, and my GPS keeps yelling at me to upgrade my maps, but none are available. Seems Pioneer has ostricised this unit.

I have just received my Pioneer Avic S1. I have a Cingular 8125 (htc wizard) phone that I hooked up to it over bluetooth. I am able to make and receive calls using the keypad, but I cannot "beam" contacts to it... My phone recognizes the S1, attempts to send a contact to it, then the S1 crashes. Nothing will move and it will not respond to input until I flip the switch in the back. Any suggestions on getting this vital feature to work, since I can't seem to add the contacts by hand?
