  1. seems like a lot of you have 05+ mustangs and these pioneer systems in there. i have read through many of these and i dont know what any of this oss and all of that means(ive always had my stuff installed by a buddy at ultimate electronics).. i have heard if i get an avic-d3 and get rid of my shaker 500 the front 2 speakers won't work... is this true? can anyone tell me the wiring i will need to buy in addition to whaetver comes with an avic-d3 for it to work in 06. recommend new front speakers if i need them too... im sure someone can help me out here thanks
  2. i love coming over from the stang forums and reading all the same stuff here glad a lot of us have the avics. and bullitt rims.
  3. (dont have one yet) if i type in "wendys" will it find all the wendys near me? if i type in libraries.. can i find the ones nearest? can it do things like this? or do i need specific addresses.
  4. ok that seems a bit more reasonable but yet inconvenient compared to other navs ive used. of course this thing has many more functions and fits oh so nicely into my dash so i think im going to get it now
  5. can you just be driving around with a cd in and at any time push a map button or anything to just show you the neighboring highways and streets? say im not even getting directions anyway could i just have a screen showing me where i am and locations around me?
  6. so there is no way around this? you cant listen to a cd and get directions at the same time?
  7. so i am very confused about 1 thing which is probably very simple question for all of you. can i type in a location in the navigation system and then put the car in drive and drive along with a CD playing and the navigation will continue to give me directions on where im going. or do you have to swap out the nav disk for the cd to work all the time. i keep readingf about how you have to swap the disk.. isnt this really inconvenient you have to change discs each time you want to type in new directions?
