can perform this off any firmware or do i need to be a specific version ebfore doing this? and what happens if you don't do a backup and sht messes up...lol what is the next step? O:

can this be done on any firmware or do you have to be running on a specific firmware? i hate how all of these don't say that information D: cause i know for regular firmwares you need to do one by one..for instance if you want v4 and you're on v1 you need v2 then v3 then v4... so...what about this firmware? sorry to go off topic bro but how did you manage to update to 3? what version did your unit come with? i am looking for the 3.0 firmware file but can't anywhere ;(

Map version : 01.000800 version : 2.008000 so i been looking everywhere for udpates...no where in sight...guess cause this device soo outdated? lol and you have to go from firmware to firmware can't just upgrade to v3 or v4 directly right? so i think i already fcked up...coiuldn't find usa anything but i came accross this...http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/support/software/AVIC-F900BT/page.html however it says EU and i'm USA but it should work? just put my own maps? i tried the first one..
