  2. Hey all, Having a problem when I go to reverse, the picture flickers black a little bit. And it completely blacks out and stays black when i have the steering wheel turned all the way to the right when reversing. Anyone have any idea what the issue might be here? Thanks.
  3. I have most of my car audio equipment that I pulled out of my crap Civic and wanting to put into my 2007 Pilot LX. I really want to know if the price quote given to me is fair or not. I have the following: - 2 15" Concept PT15 Subwoofers (800 watt ea) - 2x800 Watt Concept Amplifiers (1 per sub) - 1x400 watt (4 channel) Rockford Fosgate Amplifier (for mids and highs) - 2 pairs of 2 channel Diamond Audio speakers (will upgrade later when I have more money) - 1 battery capacitor I have no wires,RCA's, Distribution or anything besides what I listed above. 4. Hasnt frozen since the update.. Doing well here.
  5. temp hasnt really changed here in FL so I'll keep you all posted... My unit was frozen 95% of the time I used my car.. black car too
  6. When I was doing the freeze up update, it did the 92/92 file update then said "System update failed" it rebooted then installed a 1/1 file and then said "System update completed".... Has this happened to anyone else? Not sure if it affected anything yet. I checked the version number and it appears to have updated..
  7. Yeah, mine has frozen at night before as well... Actually... Now that I think of it, its frozen 95% of the time
  8. If not, I imagine the replacement Toshiba replacement HD will work right? With the higher HD temp threshold?
  9. Anyone know if this will be included in the freeze fix?
  10. I was driving around today and it appeared that some of the roads that previously were there, weren't there anymore.. It looked like there was big squares of missing road data where it was just pure tan. However, if I zoomed out a lot they would show back up. I live in FL so it gets super hot here, would heat be causing this as well?
  11. It really has taken them too long to figure out what was going on
  12. I know where you live. So this better be true Nah but seriously, I hope this is true. I'm sick of having a $1500 paperweight in my car
  13. I am getting SO PISSED about this. And I bought mine from Sonix Electronics who isnt an authorized dealer so I cant just send it in for repair.. It's almost like having no radio during the day at all... Because it never works during the day. Seriously don't these clowns test their junk before they release it?
  14. I looked around the forums for a bit and couldn't find anything on this. I live in Florida and temperatures here get really hot and I have a black car. I noticed a few times that the voice guidance and the menu selection beeps dont work and its usually during the day when its really hot. Does anyone else have this issue? And if so, is there a way to fix it or turn it on after the cars cooled a little bit? If I reset it I have to put my setting back into it.
  15. Thanks to everyone for their help, I have gotten the XM radio working, and the bypass working... It was a P.Bus issue between the XM unit, bluetooth unit, and the head unit. The installers are complete crap. They told me they hooked up the VSS but its not plugged into anything behind the head unit. And they told me to call pioneer tech support to fix the Xm but myself being someone who hasnt taken apart a dash before was able to fix it, says a lot about them.. But anyways thanks for the help, I still need help with the hooking up of the VSS but I'll head on over to the Honda Pilot for
