I can't get Waze working either on App Radio 3. It just keeps complaining that video is not allowed while driving! Not sure what I am done wrong.

Interesting. Although, I was wondering more around App Radio 3 specifically. I will try using Google Play music or Android music player. I am wondering if anyone had any luck using iPhone either? I haven't had luck with either!

I have the app radio 3 with DVD installed for iPhone 5. When I play music via Bluetooth streaming I just see Unknown for all options via my Android or the iPhone 5. The product description says it should show information where available. Has anyone been able to get this working? All I can do is progress to the next song, and pause/play.

True.. I do plan on using this option. I was just trying to avoid burning DVDs/CDs as I had been in my standard factory unit in the past. Thumb drive is much more convenient in my opinion. Since it's all streamed anyway, I have gone the DLNA option off of servers at home. I will test it this weekend. Setup a VPN off of the iPhone and then stream my local media on my home server.

Yes, I did see that. Although, my main purpose was to use a large flash thumb drive and just keep updating songs there. Instead of buying a large capacity iPhone etc. This is an interesting option, but still would require a separate device to hold songs I guess.

Any chance they could enable this feature via a firmware upgrade in the future? I just got it installed couple days ago and am a bit disappointed that I can't use a flash drive to just play music!
