  1. Hi all, My problem is no audio or video from my new iPhone5 thru the CD-IV202NAVI and lightning-to-VGA adapter combination. I can see the iPhone detect that an external display is attached and start sending video out, but nothing shows up on my AVIC-x940bt head unit. I have everything wired up properly (as far as I can tell)(the iPhone wouldn't detect and change modes if not(?)), switch is flipped to "2" on my VGA adapter (CD-IV202NAVI). I am starting to wonder if its defective. I had an iPhone4s and it worked perfectly, but now with the new phone and all the adapters; nothing. And yes, i was
  2. Ya, you need the CD-IV202NAVI VGA adapter then the Apple adapter for VGA to lightning. They are about $50. Although, i have both and cannot get audio or video so who knows if the combination even really works. Is anyone able to get audio and video from iphone5 to an X940BT successfully?
  3. Has anyone figured this out yet? I've got almost the same issue, but i cannot even get video. The iPhone5 knows its plugged in and sends video out the lightning cable, so I am not missing any setting on the phone, but the Head unit just isn't either setup properly or seeing anything from the vga adapter. I really don't know what else to check because the setup is so simple it's beyond me how it can not be working. I went from the iPhone4s to the 5 and the 4s worked perfectly.
