  1. Yes move the mute wire and then ground it as well as the parking break. All the info is here, just take a look around. Good Luck.
  2. I did a couple here: http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 2346#62346
  3. ah U turns... here in Florida is the only place I know where people making U turns have the right of way... Unless of course you are making a right on red against someone making the U turn... then you have the right away. Tourism... what a wonderful thing.
  4. HAHAHAHa!!!! I'm a dork. mine works now.
  5. To both of your questions, it purely depends on the phone. With my Motorola Q I would go to the "Phonebook Transfer" screen on my D3 and then on my phone I go to contacts, highlight the contact I wish to transfer, select menu, select send via bluetooth. Second, on my phone I can select (during a call) menu, switch to handset. Depending on your phone that will determine whether you have these capabilities. I hope this helps.
  6. If the audio changes when you move the cable- it is clearly a connection problem.
  7. Just had the same prob with my N2... I replaced the rca cable and it was as good as new.
  8. P.S. I would definitely dilute the acetone with water and bring up the strength as you verify it is safe in a small corner section of the screen.
  9. Doh' The best way I know how to remove superglue is with nail polish remover (acetone). I would be very careful with this and try it on a small corner of the screen to make sure it isn't going to do more damage. Before using the acetone use warm soapy water to break it down. (That will do alot probably) If that does nothing for it, try goof off. Good luck, keep us posted. **Not liable for any further damage**
  10. I did some research- The first thing I uncovered is that no one thinks a z1 will fit in and 03 f150- what I mean by no one is crutchfield, cc, bb or any other automated vehicle fit guide. However- I have uncovered quite a few 03 f150 z1 installs that, in the picture, appear to be spot on with the dash. My inclination- circuit city typed in the make/model/year and the system said it was a no go. If you want to do it yourself as stated, pull it out of the box and see if it fits. If I am correct your truck had the standard double din stock radio that all late model fords have. Chances
