Did your installer run the program that was on this forum. I did the bypass with a friend and not only did we do the hand brake wire trick but we had to run the updated software given on one of the threads before it would work. I only had the unit for a couple weeks myself and I have nothing negative to say yet!

I was wondering if you could change the Volkswagen lettering to VEEDUB T, and make it a bit more bold (thicker and the same with the VW logo)? I was also wondering if you could do a seperate BG with a pic of my car. I have a couple pics but I will let you decide (if your cool with doing another).

Take all the time you need, your last bg's with your car look pretty sweet! I would like to see just a nice big bold VW logo maybe taking up a third of the screen up in a corner and some nice blue designs similar to what you have done already in others (only in a LED type blue). If your installing the Z2 (not sure if its the same with all navi's) you have to remember there is a speed sensing wire that needs to be installed for the navi to work. I had to run it the back of my speedo cluster and find the right wire to tap into (in my 04 Jetta).

can it not be under one thread on its own with stickys in it? Sure its alot but so is 42 pages of backgrounds...

I'm new to this forum and came across lots of cool backgrounds the only problem I find is it is so spread around the forum that it makes it real hard to find a specific type of image ie Pioneer, automotive, and or movie types. I was wondering if the mods could create some stickys of different themes such as named above to make it alot easier to find something of interest ie Honda, GM, VW, Movies, Pioneer etc... Just a thought.

Exactly... It doesn't do it automaticaly, you have to go to change background and pick choose from cd.

I live in a suburb of Ottawa (1 1/2hours west of MTL) and works perfect so far!
