I have loaded up my hard drive with music, movies, and audio books. Aside from the horrible way that it reads and lists files and folders, it works ok. Meaning i can scroll through them, hit the button for audio/video and it "works" Problem is that I get no video on the head end unit. (Yes I have Bypassed it and DVD's work perfect while driving) Funny thing is when playing a movie (AVI format) the sound works great and it plays on the rear screens both on the Mirror and USB1 or USB2 setting for the rear. It does not play video on the head end......... Any suggestions? All i get is the

I discovered that my F920BT worked perfectly and didn't restart (reboot) when I started the car. It never had updated the firmware, but today I updated the firmware to the latest version (2.00300) published by Pioneer. My surprise was that after the firmware update my AVIC F520BT restarts (reboot) when I turn on my car. How can I do a downgrade to know if the error is the firmware ???? Has someone had the same error ???? Thanks. -

Hello. I"ve got avic f-130 in my motorhome. There were instaled AutoMapa (it's polish navigation software). I was trying to update it and I've formated that sd card to put there newer version of software. Now I have error "Incorrect SD card". I was trying to put there Mobilenavigator and it doesn't work. Any ideas? Sorry for my English.

Hello, everyone. I have an Avic f900bt and it's been 3 years since I have had a properly working unit. I have tried so many different techniques throughout the years including going into test mode and downloading the hybrid 4.01 files, but I kept receiving a errors. I have also tried deleting the gps.para files and doing a reboot, but it still did not work. I have had this problem for 3 years and I just cant take it anymore! So I just bought the NEX 5000 pioneer from a trusted local pawn and I was crazy excited to put it in but it seems to have a password lock. Pioneer is not open yet here in my time zone but it seems to be an 80 dollar fix? I'm going to see if they can tell me if its stolen but the pawn shop lady told me I could return if it can't be fixed. Anyway to get it into like a system restore mode? I've heard test mode works as well but only ones I see are for other models. Any help would be appreciated!

So I formatted my USB drive that had my videos I copied from Youtube, converted online, ran through Handbrake with the settings below (im pretty sure the setting were the same) and loaded on my 64gb USB drive. Viola, the video worked great and so did the audio! It took me forever to find the settings for Handbreak that ACTUALLY worked. Handbreak settings that had worked on my AVIC z130bt. Is it possible to update AVIC F60BT(India) with AVIC F60DAB? The reason I want to do this is Pioneer India wont release a firmware update for CarPlay, so I'm looking for alternatives. I'm not sure but I think hardware wise both models are the same. I'm not bothered with losing my local map content after the update, just want to get CarPlay working. Hi all, I recently bought the Pioneer AVIC F970DAB (this is the european version). I also bought all the required cables and it kind of works. However it seems, i cannot use the factory bt microphone in the car, and no information is displayed in the MFD3 display. After some googling I found the Idatalink Maestro RR. They claim vw bluetooth works fine and I would be able to retain all functionality with the MFD3. However it has only been tested with the US versions of the pioneer head units. And apparently (talking to their tech suport) the US versions do not the climate control

Do I really have to package up my system and ship it to pioneer? I called them today and they said it will cost roughly $100 plus shipping just to bypass this password! Not to mention it will take between 1-2 weeks to get my radio back. There has to be an alternative, local programming shops? Anyone else run into this problem?

Hi guys, Does anyone know how to get Carplay working for AVICF60BT (India)? There is no firmware update available on Pioneer's official website. AVICF60DAB which has identical hardware already has Carplay available, but it's not available for AVICF60BT. Any help is appreciated.

Hi there! Just purchased a user car, built in with the Pioneer Avic-X1R . Great piece of multimedia, however the DVD that came along with it does not supply all country's I'm driving in. So, I'm looking for the Eastern Europe DVD - however I can not find any place where to buy or download this DVD. Who can help me out with a supplier / download link? Thanks in advance! Rick

Sinds 2 weeks i have a pioneer avic f700BT. it has sottware version version 2.009000 and the map version is 1.008000 from 2008 (europe) Now was i looking last three days on this forum, bud i cann't find a frimware update or good map update. if it is possibel i want to updte to 4.0 en with newest map update. I have make an back up of my flashdrive folder with wince testmode. but how to get to the next step? i hope sombody can help me a bid.

Hey guys. Hopefully somebody can help me. My f7010 crashed a few weeks ago, so I got the latest update from pioneer in the hopes to fix it. During the update the power was interrupted. So all it does now is load to the splash, I have to push the menu button to get anywhere, and after that its very limited. It does go into testmode. I have everything I need, but the backup. My backups didn't take for some reason. If anyone can help I would be forever in your dept. I've looked this site over, and it seems all the links for this software are dead. I also need the wince for this device as well. Pl
