  1. I have a AVH-2330NEX connected with a maestro rr to my 2012 f150 I have an iPhone 7 and iOS 11 if I choose the input of iPod with my phone connected via Bluetooth, the artwork is initially displayed. If you advance one song the artwork shows as missing. When you go to the next song, the artwork displays for the previous song. If you go forward again, the artwork continues being one behind. This happens on more than one app. Thoughts as to why? Is this some glitch? If I am connected via CarPlay, the artwork also seems to get behind...
  2. The short -> Great Unit Marred by a Substandard File Browser When loading a Fresh Media card, SD or USD (Only change the USB when the car is powered down), you MUST wait for the entire collection to read before powering down the head-unit. A fresh card refers to not only the first insertion, but also if you remove the card to add new music. IF you power down the head unit before this, you will need to factory reset the unit …. for it to again read past 90% on larger music collections and a tendency to freeze playback on some powerups requiring a restart of the vehicle. The fi
  3. Has anyone had a problem where all of a sudden there head unit stopped displaying album art? I was driving the other day and with the setup I have- AVIC-X950BH CD-AH200C / Samsung MHL adapter / SG3 - Center console iPod / Cables - Glove box Anyways, the iPod stopped working, and I ended up having to restart it (not reset). After I did that, no album art. I've tried everything I've done in the past to fix this issue, including erasing the iPod, and restoring it with a backup, and re-syncing with iTunes, and am about to try MediaMonkey. Where it gets weird is that Pandora, which uses m
  4. I have just installed my new NEX6000 and have started to experiment with its features. I decided to test out the SD card slot using some albums I had ripped to MP3s. Each album is in its own folder and each folder has a file in it named "folder.jpg" which is a common method for ripping, but for some reason the art doesn't appear when I play songs in SD mode. The music plays fine and the tag info shows up on the screen fine as well. I called Pioneer tech support and of course they had no answer for me. All they could say is that the MP3s they got from iTunes were showing the album art when they
  5. As time goes on, I'm noticing that both the album art and channel icons aren't properly represented for certain stations. I certainly haven't checked all stations; and it doesn't even happen with all of my presets. But for some stations, it does happen consistently. You can see the station's number indicated on the bottom. Titles for station, artist, and song are also always correct. (In fact, tags still work). I snapped a few photos with my iPhone to show you what I mean. One photo shows Station 312 (Tom Petty's Buried Treasure) but the station icon for '90's on 9 is present as well
  6. I recently installed the AVIC Z 140BH in my car. I pared my EVO 3D through bluetooth. I don't see any options for Pandora. I don't see my phone song list or playlists. Do I need to do anything special in my phone or the car music system?
  7. Hello Guys, Newcomer here,! I just bought a AVH-P2350DVD unit. Its working great and im lovin it... The only detail that taking my sleep is about album arts. It simply doesnt show any album art from a usb flash drive source or a dvd disc. Is it normal? does it only show from a ipod connection? anybody knows how to make it work??... thanks a lot..!
  8. So, I abhor Apple and their inferior products, and thus do not own an iPod or iPhone. It also makes no sense to me to spend so much money on a head unit for good audio quality, only to degrade it notably by using the stupid analog signal iPod cable. Thus, simply getting an iPod is not an option. What I do not understand is why Pioneer does not have voice recognition with regards to music when using an SD card or thumb drive that isn't an Apple product, and why it will not display album art. Has someone written software or created a hack that gets around this ridiculous limitation? Ther
  9. Hi everyone, I recently had my AVIC Z130 installed in my car. I frequently use the iPod capabilities to play my music through the head unit. At first all of my music's album art was displayed. However, recently upon syncing my iPod none of my newly added songs display artwork on the headunit, which is running the latest firmware. My iPod Touch is a third generation model running iOS 4.2.1 and my entire music library is encoded in Apple Lossless with embedded artwork. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem and if there was a known fix? Thanks.
