Greetings! I recently installed a Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX head unit. I tried the DMH-1500 first but realized I needed to angle the screen for glare. Anyway, I do love this radio. However the ability to create a custom background image that fills the entire screen is maddening! I have tried every suggested resolution and sizing I could find online. No matter what I do, there is black bars at the top and bottom. --OR-- on the left and right. I can't find a size or resolution that makes the image actually take up the whole screen when being used as a background. I regularly use

I have an Avic 7200nex. I bought it the end of July and had Best Buy install it. Everything was great. I changed my home screen and the background to custom images. Today, the background image didn't appear. If I go into settings it looks like the image is there and it has been the choice selected, but it no longer appears.

I didn't find much for instructions on making custom backgrounds. So, if this is redundant I apologize. But, it's actually instruction on fixing the aspect ratio for your backgrounds. Model: AVIC-8000NEX Problem: Backgrounds appear stretched Cause: Display pixels are not 1:1 ratio Resolution: Squish image in the opposite direction before upload Pretty much the first thing I did after installing my stereo was change the splash screen. Really enjoying my 5000 NEX, streets ahead of my old F700BT. Some questions I haven't been able to find answers to: 1. Obviously you can change the splash screen, but it doesn't stay on very long (maybe <3 secs) before the 'Pioneer Loading' screen comes on (which stays on for maybe 5-6 secs). To me this defeats the purpose of having a customisable splash screen in the first place. I don't see any way around this, someone tell me i'm wrong. 2. When choosing an AV background screen, there are some pre-installed 'active' screens (sort of like a .gif) e.g. equaliser bars, moving polygon

I know you can change the startup screen, but has anyone figured out how to change the "Loading…" screen? The splash screen or startup screen is so quick I would love for it to stay on during loading. Bueller? Bueller?

Hi Guys, I was wondering if there is a possibility to change the background of the Main Screen ? I managed to change it on the App´s Homescreen but not the Main Screen. I guess that is because the Main background picture comes direktly from the radio and not the iPhone. I was thinking if it´s possible to maybe change it through the USB Port wich is used for Firmware updates. Anyone got any ideas ??? Thx Guys Goofy

Does anyone know the ratio for the Z130BT? Also does anyone have instructions on how to add them on this model? Also I have been looking for Mercury background/splash screens and havn't found any. Maybe I missed them somewhere. I have a Grand Marqui. If anyone knows of or can make a cool background/splash screen for me that would be awesome. I am also looking for a colts background/splash screen. Attached are some pictures I found. Thank you all for your help. I will keep looking to see if any of these questions have been answered.
