  1. Hey guys, I just got my X920bt a few weeks ago and I havent been able to get the bluetooth to work. I am running 3.0001 version (thank you avic411.com). I have tried the z120bt 3.10 bluetooth version, the 3.11, and the bluetooth version that is included in the CNSD update. Still nothing. Everytime I try to update it says "an error has occurred update has failed" or something similar to that nature. I did call pioneer and the guy i talked to said it was hardware but I am kinda doubting him. Any thoughts, suggestions....? Jokes?
  2. I now drive my sons truck with a SPH-DA100 installed and in the options menu I cancelled all bluetooth devices thinking it would be easy to reconnect my own. We both use an iPhone 4s. Now when I go to the phone menu, while the options are visible, none are highlighted or respond including the options button in the phone menu which according to the manual is required to connect bluetooth devices. All other functions work and the phone worked fine until I hit the cancel bluetooth button. Help.
  3. Who's using Aha radio with a Galaxy S3? It has me stumped. I've change the connection mode to Bluetooth but can't seem to establish a connection. According to docs Aha app uses Bluetooth SPP mode to connect, however I can't find any config for SPP on the GS3. There's some chatter on the Adroid forums about GS3 and ICS breaking SPP compatibility by "improving" security. I guess it's pretty secure if it can't be used:( Has anybody out there got this to work?
  4. This forum is filled with questions regarding compatibility with this iPhone or that Android, and which Bluetooth versions. Meanwhile I can plug a 64gb SD card in the head unit that has all the music, video and album art I ever wanted. Why don't they just enhance the player functionality when using SD so it's not so brain dead? They certainly have the processing power but the player is less functional than a 10 year old version of WinAmp. Honestly if I could just load all my music and playlists on SD and access it via a decent and functional UI I'm not so sure I give a $&);/ about
  5. From the perspective of my Galaxy S3 it connects to my 930BT successfully in both phone and audio mode. However from the Bluetooth screen of the player the phone appears to be perpetually connecting. No songs appear in the directory and although play can be pushed nothing plays. I have played with the Bluetooth settings and re-paired numerous times to no avail. No A2DP success. However today I discovered another way that works. Rather than connect via the Bluetooth settings start with the Android Player app. Use the menu ( lower left) button to share via other device. Select Bluetooth, con
  6. I purchased the 2012 map update and installed it today. My razr maxx connects to the z130 and I can make calls and see my contacts but the pandora and aha apps will not respond. I get an error message. Please connect...when I hit connect it says it is unable to connect to Bluetooth device. I have reset the unit and phone to resync the Bluetooth. I have been through all av and Bluetooth settings with tec support. I can play anything through the Bluetooth option but there is no info and no control from the z130. PLEASE HELP I have an 8 hour trip Saturday and really could use my pandora.
  7. Hello, Since a 2 weeks my bluetooth module in my f20bt does not work anymore. At first it started with not being able to connect from my wife's Iphone to my nokia. And now the bluetooth function just has been switched off. Switching it on just gives the error message: connection failed (I translated it from dutch). I tried to switch it on now for at least 10 times but I cannot get it working again. In the machines testmenu I did the selftest (I read the forums how to get there). The bluetooth selftest gave an error. Can anybody help me out here. Maybe by reinstalling the software?
  8. Hi, I recently recieved an AVIC-D3 from a friend who wasn't using it anymore. I am just wondering if the cd-btb200 is the only bluetooth adapter you can use for bluetooth on the D3? Or if anyone has found a way to use a different adapter with it? I've heard that the connectivity of the cd-btb200 is not tremendously great and it is also discontinued. Is there something better to use? Thanks.
  9. After searching numerous threads without success, I thought I would see if anyone has experienced a similar issue, and more importantly knows a solution. My 910BT has apparently lost power to the volume and bluetooth components. The LED backlight around the volume knob is now gone as well. Everything works, except the BT, and I have no volume adjustability (fortunately it was at about 50% when the module went out). Pioneer has graciously offered to ID the problem for $250, and then repair costs on top of that. Sounds like a fuse or internal power issue, I just don't kow where it is. Anyone?
  10. I've had a U310BT for a couple years now and have no complaints running on firmware version 1.003(I believe). The only thing I wish to add is Pandora radio. Certainly, I can connect my phone via the mini-jack port but I would to link it via Bluetooth. I've been reading a bit and it seems many have got custom apps on their head units to do various things but I haven't read anything about Pandora. Has anyone linked Pandora through Bluetooth or know if it's even possible with is unit? I think A2DP through Bluetooth is the feature I'm trying to add.
  11. Just installed a new AVH-P4400BH head unit and when I go to the Bluetooth Audio menu it just says "No Service". When I go to the Phone Menue to pair my phone all the icons are greyed out. Did I do something wrong, or is there a software update I need? Everything else works prefectly.
  12. I just put in my z120 bt in my 07 tahoe cant remember how to pair my galaxy nexus.
  13. When I try to dial using the contacts I often just get a fast busy signal. At first I thought it would dial local and not long distance but both seem to give me busy signals (most) or operator 42 messages. Once in a while it dials and goes thru. If I pick up the phone and dial from the phone it goes thru and the x710 will connect to the phone so I can talk over the hands free. Anyone had and solved this problem? Thanks
  14. I recently installed the app radio 2 (SPH-DA100) and am having 2 problems 1. Cant find the power line to connect the parking break sensor wire (2008 Ford F150) 2. When i go to setup bluetooth the little gear to setup your bluetooth is greyed out.. any one know how to fix this or what i may have done wrong installing it? Any help would be appreciated.
  15. Just bought a Pioneer avic-z130bt with all the bells and whistles from car toys. I would love to stream music from my i-phone 4 with bluetooth. But when I try only the info shows up on the avic screen without any audio. What gives? I thought this would be a no brainer. I do get audio with the cable for the i-phone hooked up, but who wants to open the glove box and hook up to a cable every time? Anyone else have this problem?
  16. I've had my X920BT installed for over a year now and I've been hoping and praying for a solution that's never come... at least not through Pioneer. While I can hear people perfectly while speaking on handsfree, I get constant complaints that people can't hear me due to background noise. I have the noise cancellation on and I've moved my microphone around and seem to have it in the optimal place. Is there anything else I can do? Would a better quality microphone help? Any help would be appreciated.
  17. Am running a variant of Android Cm7.1 on my Nexus One. I have about 2,000 contacts. My phone and Avic Z140BH headunit insists on exchanging all 2,000 contacts if my Android Contacts "Display Options" are set to "My Contacts." Problem is that this really makes Voice Recognition unusable (too many contacts to parse). To get around this, I created a "Car" label in Gmail for the 21 contacts I want. If I change the "Display Options" to just "Car," only the 21 contacts are synced and VR works great. Problem is that when not in the car, I would like "My Contacts" to visible on my phone. I wo
  18. For a few years now, my F90BT has never quite functioned as I had hoped, especially with the bluetooth phone interface. On a very rare ocassion I can successfully transfer an active call from my phone to the radio and continue the conversation, however what happens more commonly is that you loose audio completely in the car and only the call recipiant can hear anything. I've checked the BT compatability and have the latest software, however I am hear rumors that there may be a hackthat I could apply to improve the over all experience here. When I cut the power to the Igniton the call jus
  19. I just got my pioneer Z130bt, when I went to pair my iPhone, the settings in which you do that is greyed out, and so is the nav settings and everything else except for the audio settings. PLEASE ADVISE, I didn't hook up the parking brake wire or bypassed it yet, could that be why??????
  20. I have been searching many forums trying to see if anyone else is having this problem with their 930bt. The issue that I am having is that the sound I get from connecting my iphone via the pioneer 51 cable is not as good as when I connect my iphone via bluetooth. It sounds much better when connected with bluetooth. Has anyone else noticed this and is there a remedy? Thanks to all that respond.
  21. I have an AVIC Z120BT. Bypassed. Everything but the bluetooth is working! Just a few days ago, my bluetooth start acting up. Connecting then disconnecting from my phone. Then yesterday, the bluetooth cut out completely. Called Pioneer and they said its the ebrake wire. Not true cause my deck ALWAYS thinks the ebrake is on. When I go to my bluetooth settings, everything is greyed out. Wont let me selecting anything. Indicates that the bluetooth is "on" sometimes and other times "off" but makes no difference. Still cant select anything. HELP! Do I have to go back to a headset while i drive?
  22. I got my z130bt installed yesterday, my LG G2x android phone syncs via bluetooth fine. I can even play pandora & spotify through bluetooth. I cant see the titles on the HU, but I can still change tracks/volume via the HU.
  23. I'm just generally annoyed with Pioneer Electronics over a problem I had with my AVIC Z120BT. What follows is various emails I've shared with a Customer Service department that basically just said "too bad, so sad...you're out of warranty, so pay up". I'm just too tired to type up all the phone calls that went just as poorly. I'll post on another thread about actually trying to get the bluetooth fixed. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Summary: I reported the problem well within the 30 day
  24. This weekend I will mostly be... moving my AVIC into my new car I've just bought an "Audi A3, A4, TT Steering Wheel Stalk Control Interface Adaptor Lead" and just wanted to check what level of functionality I should have with it? I've connected the Fakra block, interface block and my existing Pioneer patch lead, but haven't connected in any of the loose bullet connectors - what are they for? As background, the car has a multi function steering wheel and built-in bluetooth. I've removed the factory fitted Concert III head unit and replaced it with the F700BT. I want to use the Audi Blu
  25. My phone syncs via bluetooth, but when i shut my car off and come back at another time, I have to manually sync it again (register, find device, etc.). Any ideas?
