I purchased the 2012 map update and installed it today. My razr maxx connects to the z130 and I can make calls and see my contacts but the pandora and aha apps will not respond. I get an error message. Please connect...when I hit connect it says it is unable to connect to Bluetooth device. I have reset the unit and phone to resync the Bluetooth. I have been through all av and Bluetooth settings with tec support. I can play anything through the Bluetooth option but there is no info and no control from the z130. PLEASE HELP I have an 8 hour trip Saturday and really could use my pandora. -
Hello, I purchased the new update for my avic f930bt now with app mode but cant get it to work. Now i'm reading that i need a HDMI or MHL cable? but the most android telephones only have a micro usb port Does someone know what i need to get it to work?

Hello everyone, I picked up an Appradio 2 for my car on the weekend but they didn't have the Android connectivity kit in stock so I haven't been able to try the connection yet. I am wondering if anyone out there has tried to connect a phone that has Android 4.0 ICS on it and if they are successful or not. If you have tried it what model of phone was it? I have a Galaxy S2 with ICS and am really hoping it works because so far the iPhone hasn't worked very well for me since it doesn't really do multi tasking properly. -
Since there isn't any fix in sight for the Appradio2, does anybody know if , you had an iPod touch connected to your Andriod's Wifi (as a Mobile Hotspot) and connected to to the Appradio2, would it work? So basiclly your circumventing the Andoid issues by using an "i" product which has a ton more apps and seems to be working, but not going to an iPhone. We have been left for dead with everybody pointing their fingers at each other, I was hoping this would enable us to have a functional radio while we wait..... Thoughts plz..

Hello, I have I F700bt that has been installed in my wife's car for several years and it has been working great. She just made the jump from an iPhone 4 to a Samsung Galaxy S2 (android phone). The iPhone worked great through the pioneer cable, gave control through the unit, sounded decent, charged the phone, etc. With the Android phone, the only way I can get it to play music through the unit is via the front AUX in, setting "Input 2" to Video; which gets a black screen since I am using a basic 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable out of the headphone jack on the phone. Extra Mile is showing up as a recommended app in the AppRadio program. I haven't tried it out. Apparently it's not available to me in Canada.

I have an AVIC-Z140bh nav/dvd system in my car. I bought it because it said it was Android compatable. I have already had a little bit of difficulty transfering my contacts to the unit. But I finally figured that out. The thing plays Pandora through bluetooth easily, which was nice. Dvds and radio works great too. Again, had some difficulty finding the correct format to play ripped music videos on the SD card, but I even overcame that. So now my current problem is finding out how to connect my Droid Razr Maxx to it so I can play AppRadio, DashCommand, Netflix, YouTube, Waze...... Se

Hello All I recently learned about the AppRadio 2. I have a Droid 3 android phone (Verizon, US). I am looking into this phone primarily to use google maps on the bigger screen. The droid3 is not listed as a compatible phone, but it does have HDMI out. Hey all, Last week I purchased and install the new Pioneer Appradio 2. I will start by saying I have very high hopes for this unit but at this time it is horrible. I'm hoping other owners will confirm that i'm not the only one that has these problems. Car: 2011 SUBARU WRX Phone: Droid Raxr iphone 4s Issues: 1. Screen will go black from time to time. Usually while listening to pandora and driving. Just goes black, music still plays. If I hit the volume the volume will display in the top left of the screen. This happens randomly and often. 2. i wanted to show every one the best way to stream pandora... watch video's from and i device, even iphone 4s, and all ipods... listen to music and much more... 1. BUY PART - OPTION 1 apple users only- a isimple cable is76 about $25 on amazon as of 2/2012 ( this cable hooks into the bottom of your ipod like a charger does, on the other end of the cable it has all av composite ends video/audio/ and +/- ) or OPTION 2 any other audio/video users - with a head phone jack,android, even iphones - 3.55m to composite cable. cheap under $10. Am running a variant of Android Cm7.1 on my Nexus One. I have about 2,000 contacts. My phone and Avic Z140BH headunit insists on exchanging all 2,000 contacts if my Android Contacts "Display Options" are set to "My Contacts." Problem is that this really makes Voice Recognition unusable (too many contacts to parse). To get around this, I created a "Car" label in Gmail for the 21 contacts I want. If I change the "Display Options" to just "Car," only the 21 contacts are synced and VR works great. Problem is that when not in the car, I would like "My Contacts" to visible on my phone. I wo

I got my z130bt installed yesterday, my LG G2x android phone syncs via bluetooth fine. I can even play pandora & spotify through bluetooth. I cant see the titles on the HU, but I can still change tracks/volume via the HU.
