  1. I've had my car for almost two years now and this is the first time I've had problems with the D3. Problem: I turned my car on today and the bluetooth options suddenly aren't available anymore. The only button I can push is "radio".. everything else is suddenly grey. What I tried: I've restarted my car, reset the D3 by pushing the reset button on the front of my screen, this didn't fix anything. I even tried resetting it twice. This was installed by the last car owner. I don't know if it was professionally installed or if they did it. All wires are hidden (bluetooth mic is to the l
  2. I upgraded my X930-BT to version 4 using the "super easy" method outlined here http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/35230-2012-uscan-maps-cnsd-310fmuc-upgrade-updated-to-supereasymethod-beta/page-21&do=findComment&comment=259388 The upgrade went smoothly, although the system information screen does not look exactly like the one posted in the article, my unit only displays the version number. I have now noticed that after pairing my Iphone 6 device, the Received Calls icon on the phone screen is greyed out. Has anyone else seen this? As well, the unit and my phone don't s
  3. I just had an Avic x850bt installed and I have noticed that every now and again while I am driving the bluetooth will cut out and come back, sometimes doing this a couple of times like a 'flickering' effect, Does anyone have any ideas of what might be causing this? I never had this issue with my AVH-X2500BT. Thanks in advance!
  4. Hello everyone, having an annoying issue with the Bluetooth, hopefully I describe it with enough detail. The Bluetooth firmware is 3.32. Unit is 5.000. When registering a new phone via Bluetooth, it registers and connects just fine. My problem comes in when I turn on the car and the unit tries to connect to my phone. I think the unit "thinks" it is already connected to something, as when i try to connect my phone, i get the "Disconnect current device" message, even though there is nothing connected. Image uploading is failing for some reason. http://i.imgur.com/wvkLlxn.
  5. I recently got an iPhone 5 (not 5s) and switching from my old iPhone 4 should have been a breeze. However, when I try to pair the phone and my F900BT, it "hangs" while trying to connect. If I try to connect from the Phone, I am asked to provide a PIN. have tried several times. when I choose "111" as the radio suggests, it takes the proess a bit longer to fail, than if I choose a different PIN (e.g. "1234"). However with no success, no matter what If I try to search from the radio, my iPhone shows up, and the radio begins pairing, asking me to tyoe in "1111" when prompted on the iPhone
  6. Thought I would share in case anyone else has this issue. I have a Z110BT with upgraded firmware to most current update (Z120BT). I have a Samsung Galaxy S3. Bluetooth connectivity has never been an issue until recently. The head unit stopped conecting to my phone. I tried to re-pair the device to the unit and I kept getting an error message *Registration Failed*. I thought maybe my phone was the problem, however it wasn't as it pairs with other devices just fine. I also tried pairing my older Samsung Galaxy S2 and received the same *Registartion Failed* error message. I fo
  7. Hi all I have read the varying topics related to bluetooth auto linking. It seems there are still troubles as I just got the 7000 and had it installed. The next day the dealer said they are ordering a new unit for me to see if it is the unit. My troubles are only with auto linking after turning the car off and getting back in. Currently I have to oturn my bluetooth off on my iphone 5s and turn it back on. This was a very expensive unit and I got it for the many features but also mainly for the bluetooth. I have NEVER had troubles with my bluetooth in my truck until I got this unit. Previously
  8. I understand there is a setting where I can tell it to mute with a call, but I can't find it. Can anyone direct me to that setting? If the audio doesn't mute, it seems pretty stupid.
  9. Has anyone ever had a problem where they cannot make calls from their head unit, but can transfer contacts, and receive calls? Anytime I try I get "Unable to make phone call, please check your phone connection". What's weird is that I have two AVIC-X950BH units, and only one of them is doing this. What's even more strange, if I pair a phone other than mine (SG3 CM 11.2) like a stock SG4, it works just fine. I called Pioneer, and they were stumped. Anyone ever seen something like this? Thanks, Jon
  10. After running through the syncing process, I'm unable to play Pandaro nor the iPod using the bluetooth feature located on the Z140BH. I'am able to make a phone call so I know it's synced. When I click on the bluetooth icon on the Z140BH it shows playing but no sound. I try to connect under the connect feature and it says "Unable to Connect" I'm using iPhone 5 OS 7.0.4. Pioneer V4.6. I've contacted Pioneer and the rep stated "They have no known issues". *** Does anyone have any suggestions???? ***
  11. My girlfriend has a 2007 Tahoe and just installed the x950BH and backup camera. She has an iPhone 5s and is running iOS7 and when streaming audio via bluetooth, the audio skips and cuts out. I tried my phone, iPhone 4 running iOS7 and it does the same thing. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Is there a fix?
  12. Hi folks, Newbie - First post here I'm in the UK and drive a SEAT Exeo, basically an Audi A4 B7 with a different grille and have a problem with my head unit: If I'm listening to either the radio, cd or an sd card and my phone rings - The stereo no longer mutes to answer the call, but it does mute if I'm streaming music from my phone via bluetooth. Basically, I have to turn down the volume and take the call, not ideal if you don't notice on the stereo display that someone is trying to call me! If I manually dial a call from my phone or keypad on the screen I have the same problem, b
  13. Moved to correct forum - Sorry!
  14. I have an extremely strange issue.. My microphone does not work ONLY during phone calls. When I connect my LG Optimus G to any other bluetooth device it works perfect. I can use google voice commands without issues while connected to my stereo, but when my phone connects to a call, the bluetooth microphone stops working. This started about 2 months ago and I can't seem to figure it out. Does anyone else have this issue, Pioneer has not been helpful to me since I'm out of warranty.
  15. Hello everyone, So I just installed my Avic X930BT and its great first time buying pioneer and I love it, problem is when making or receiving a call they cannot hear me. Everything else works great except for the mic, I can hear them, calls go through and everything. Could this be due to the bypass? I moved the yellow and black MUTE wire up one next to the red wire on the A/V harness. I'm not really sure what the MUTE wire is for but I'm thinking it could be that since its a MUTE wire..??? Any help would be appreciated thanks!!
  16. I just installed a z150bh head unit in my xterra I have a stock Nexus 4, not rooted. In order to get it hooked up I switched out the MHL adapter for a slimport adapter that seems to work for most people. Pandora, when operated from the avic screen rather than just a direct bluetooth audio, has issues staying connected. I will hear music from the car speakers for a few seconds, then from my phone for a few seconds. I checked the bluetooth menu on my Nexus 4 and noticed the connection status switching back and forth from a normal connection to a connection "without media" every few
  17. I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII paired to my X940 BT upgraded from X930. And it works fine actually, all except that I can't seem to get any album art or information to show up when I play music locally. The album art and info shows up just fine when I'm using Pandora app mode but when I play music with another player off my phones SD card, all I get is the audio. Any help?
  18. Hello all, I just installed and tested my new AVH-x2500BT with my Galaxy Nexus. It paired and streamed music with no issues at all, with one exception. When playing the MP3s, it wasn't displaying any information. It said "No Data Available" or "No Data Provided" or something like that. Is this a problem with my phone, my music files or perhaps the player I am using? I am using Google's default media player. Thanks a lot in advance.
  19. Hey all, I've browsed the forum but did not come across any answers on this older unit. 1) I was trying to run the Auto-Eq function as outlined on page 64 of the manual but the option on my deck is "grayed out" - not selectable. I've read the manual several times and cannot account for this issue. Is there some "enable" feature I am missing? 2) My calls are also very low for people to hear and I went to adjust the distant end audio feature BUT the same thing shows up - I cannot select that menu option. Also the menu option to take the call private is also grayed out. i tried a power o
  20. I installed an x710bt in my car last year and it worked great - until I switched from iphone to android. Now I have a HTC One S. Although the phone works perfectly for making calls, I can no longer play music through my car stereo. Since the x710bt does not support a2dp, I wanted to know if anyone had any experience with installing a Miccus Blubridge ? (http://www.amazon.com/Miccus-Mini-jack-RX-Bluetooth-Receiver/dp/B0038MA11U/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=1IZIQDB0Z4S4S&coliid=II60UXCHDLXO5) It seems like I could install the unit, plug in the audio to the RCI connectors
  21. I guys I look all through the forums specifically for this topic being covered. I found many articles talking about people not being able to use the Iphone5 when PLUGGED IN, because the interface has changed from analog AV to digital AV in the Iphone5. I get that. What I am trying to do is use my Iphone5 through Bluetooth to launch Pandora, so I can app control it on the screen like I could with my blackberry, and my nexus android. I can stream audio perfectly fine from the Iphone but I am looking for that last little part where I as able to do it before. I keep seeing news letters from
  22. Just installed the x950bh. I have a galaxy s3 phone and I first tried to connect to the unit via bluetooth with pandora - I can stream pandora but cannot control pandora from the head unit. All other bluetooth functionality works with the unit just fine but I want to be able to control pandora from the headunit. I then decided to try the mhl route and got an MHL connector. I was able to connect to the unit and both the Pandora and Aha radio apps show up on the head unit - however, appradio is continuously connecting and disconnecting (without me touching anything) and it is driving me craz
  23. Hey guys, ive got an X710BT headunit in a 2013 challenger, I have the c2r-chy4 interface and the swi-ps interface. If the swi-ps is DISconnected the wired mic for my bluetooth phone works perfect, caller can hear every word I say. When the SWI-PS installed everything works except people cant hear me talking to them (I hear them fine) The steering controls work properly and I called PAC-Audio and they did the typical blaming of the headunit but I dont trust them. Anyone run into this problem? Just a note also, If I plug in the headphone jack from the swi-ps half way the volume buttons
  24. Hey everyone, I have a AVIC F920BT unit that I connect via bluetooth to my android phone running 4.2.1. I used to be able to control the music player on android (google music, probably other apps worked too - not sure) using the hardware buttons on the avic unit ( << and >> ) so I could start playing music or skip to the previous/next song. It would also show song info onscreen about the current playing song. This doesn't work anymore, and I wonder what the reason is.. could be new android 4.2? In bluetooth music section on the avic unit, it doesn't work when I press con
  25. On 11-7-12 some ass-h%#* stole my avic-n4,ipod touch,ashtray,2 wireless headphones,12" kicker cvr's in a sub-box,and a money order in the middle of the night. I personally believe it was my neighbors who i recently found out are big time theives. The other day I found about 4 sensor tags and a clear dvd security case on the street in front of their house. My husband is livid!!!!! He's been setting traps to see if they take the bait. Oh yeah, and no they didn't get the wires or brain, antennas,xm,hd radio, ipod cord, ipod adapter, amp, sirius, dvd changer,flip-down or headr
