  1. I discovered that my F920BT worked perfectly and didn't restart (reboot) when I started the car. It never had updated the firmware, but today I updated the firmware to the latest version (2.00300) published by Pioneer. My surprise was that after the firmware update my AVIC F520BT restarts (reboot) when I turn on my car. How can I do a downgrade to know if the error is the firmware ???? Has someone had the same error ???? Thanks.

  4. hi all. new install of AVH-4100NEX here. firmware was upgraded to 1.05. when i attempt to watch video from SD card i cannot get past the warning screen which asks me to engage-release-engage the parking brake. (see image.) i have the microbypass circuit installed so --i assume-- it is unable recognize that ive engaged the brake and thus the ÓK remains greyed out. 1. does anyone running old firmware (such as 1.03) encounter this problem? 2. might anyone have an old copy of the 1.03 firmware that they could link to? 2a. is it even possible to back rev the firmware on this unit?
  5. Has anyone with an AVH-4000NEX successfully upgraded the Bluetooth version from HW01-SW03.21.30 to HW01-SW03.41.11? There were a couple of posts in this thread that indicate some AVH-4000NEX owners were unable to update the Bluetooth firmware despite following the instructions. My firmware updated from 1.08 to 1.11 without any problems but despite several attempts I've been unable to update the Bluetooth. I used a FAT32 formatted USB drive, reformatted and redownloaded for my second attempt, and my parking brake is bypassed. I think I missed the last firmware update and went straight f
  6. Hey all. I've got a 2012 Canadian STI with the X9310BT installed from factory. I've previously updated to the 2013 maps with no issues. I followed the guide here to update my firmware last month, and the maps work great, however there's numerous glitches with the audio / entertainment. To list a few: iPod is detected but won't start playing music Aux-in no longer works Playback from SD card takes several power cycles of the device before it functions Bluetooth audio and handsfree calling no longer works (both before and after BT firmware update) If there's any further info I can give
  7. I think I installed another unit's update or a bad file onto my z120bt..... I've been trying to fix it for months. I can play a disk that's already in there when i have either my sd or usb in with condhack on it. Otherwise, it just says no applicable program. I've tried to place updates on my SD but it just says update starting but quickly states that "update failed" and restarts. It continues to play through that lil sequence over n over in a loop and it's quite stressful. On boot up it says 2013 instead of 2009 as before. I do not have User files or NDATA files on unit anymore for one reason
  8. I just updated my Z130BT Map Data using P/N T1000-23348 from the 2013 version P/N T1000-22466 which worked perfectly for 2+ years until now. This updated my firmware from version 05.0000 to 06.0000 and separately updated the Bluetooth firmware from version 3.22 to 3.32. Now my unit will no longer sync with the music on my iPhone (iOs 9.2.1) nor can I connect the music using the Bluetooth interface. In addition, when I connect the phone with the usb cable the phone displays the iPod logo, the music title displays along with the countdown timer, but I get no sound or album art. On the other hand
  9. Hi All, i received a notification from Pioneer about iPhone 5 update availability (i've an european AVH-8400BT). As i've got an iPhone 5, i downloaded the ZIP and followed the instructions. Step 1: BT Firmware -> OK! Step 2: First file -> OK! Step 3: Second file... I put the USB flash drive in, demo appeared, so i pressed menu button. The demo crashed. I had the part about the "MIXTRAX" feature freezed on the screen. I pressed the RESET button on the unit and... booom! The unit doesn't power up anymore. Black screen. Completely dead. Nothing! I checked the fuses and they'
  10. Is it possible to update AVIC F60BT(India) with AVIC F60DAB? The reason I want to do this is Pioneer India wont release a firmware update for CarPlay, so I'm looking for alternatives. I'm not sure but I think hardware wise both models are the same. I'm not bothered with losing my local map content after the update, just want to get CarPlay working. Is there anyway of force updating? http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/archive/AVIC-F60DAB/page.html http://pioneer-india.in/shop/avic-f60bt/
  11. Hi guys, Does anyone know how to get Carplay working for AVICF60BT (India)? There is no firmware update available on Pioneer's official website. AVICF60DAB which has identical hardware already has Carplay available, but it's not available for AVICF60BT. Any help is appreciated.
  12. I just purchased a car with an AVIC-F700BT. The radio and nav work, but that's about it. I cannot get it to pair to my iPhone 6 either by searching for devices or pairing from the phone (no device shows). The bluetooth light on the face blinks when the unit boots, but that's it. It looks like the unit has firmware 2.06 installed. I followed the instructions on the Pioneer website to update it to 2.08, but once the SD card is installed and the unit powers on, it just boots normally? It then tries to read the SD card for audio files. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here? I'd like to see
  13. I went out to get into my car this morning and noticed that my AVIC-X910BT will not boot up. It will turn on but gets stuck at the splash screen (original Pioneer logo screen). I put a CD in and it played music but the screen was still stuck. I also pushed the reset button in the upper left-hand corner which turned the screen on and off but this did nothing. The unit was in my 2003 Acura CL Type-S when I bought it in 2012 and was installed professionally (I was given the receipt for the install but unfortunately I no longer have it). It had the firmware version 3.020100 on it which, according
  14. Hi everyone! I have a problem with my father's Avic F9110BT unit when trying to update the firmware/maps. The unit was bought on 2009 and it has never been updated until now. To proceed with the update we've folled the instructictions posted on the official pioneer website corresponding to the F9110BT model. If you go to the site, you will see that there are 3 possible updates: 1st) Update for units with CNSD-200FM (4.001000 version) 2nd) Update for units without CNSD-200FM (3.021000 versión) 3rd) Bluetooth update for units with software version under 3.30 So in our
  15. Getting super frustrated with this head unit between the apps or app radio and firmware update process.I followed pioneers instructions for the firmware update to the T. I made sure the card was formatted to fat 32 and made sure only the update folder was on the SD card. Went through the procedure on the head unit and I get an error that says "please connect a USB flash drive or SD card containing only the correct update file then press Continue to begin." I confirmed there is nothing else on this SD card, what am I doing wrong? By the way, the whole purpose of me updating from 1.0 3 is I hear
  16. Hello, New here, new to AVIC units, and i'm after a bit of help please! I've recently purchased a car with an AVIC-F950BT unit, and I'd like to update it to the latest software. It is currently running v1.00 According to the pioneer website, the latest firmware is v1.06, which i've downloaded. A couple of questions firstly: Is v1.06 really the latest version? (I've seen people talking on here of v2 and v3 but I assume these are for different models only?) Is there much difference between V1 and V1.06 Anyway, to the update process that i'm having no luck with. I'm following the instr
  17. Hi all, I upgraded my F10Bt to Z140 (F40bt thanks to avic411 users) it's ok but i don't like the new design, so i would like to know if it's possible to downgrade it with the original firmware ? because the original UI was more logical, so, i didn't saved the old one... Does anybody here have the original firmware ? and how to downgrade ? thanks
  18. Hey guys. Hopefully somebody can help me. My f7010 crashed a few weeks ago, so I got the latest update from pioneer in the hopes to fix it. During the update the power was interrupted. So all it does now is load to the splash, I have to push the menu button to get anywhere, and after that its very limited. It does go into testmode. I have everything I need, but the backup. My backups didn't take for some reason. If anyone can help I would be forever in your dept. I've looked this site over, and it seems all the links for this software are dead. I also need the wince for this device as well. Pl
  19. Downloaded the firmware update and copied onto both a USB drive and an SD card. Tried to update my NEX 4000, first with USB, then with SD. Both times, I get an error message that says it has "trouble reading, make sure update files are on root level and try again." The files are the only files on either device. Suggestions? Am I doing something wrong?
  20. Hello All, If all possible, I need help with the firmware update on my pioneer AVIC-Z130BT. 1. Operating System OS X 10.94 2. I downloaded the latest firmware form pioneer site. 3. Unzipped the file and placed the folder on to my SanDisk ExtremePro. 4. With the SD inserted into the AVIC it recognizes the SD card, but it will not update the firmware. I have ordered the firmware from pioneer, but it will take up to three weeks to get it. If you have a solution to this issue, much appreciated. Thanks, Sabot
  21. Hey guys, Would appreciate a response so greatly right now! Just installed an F910BT and my greed got the better of me - I scoured this awesome site and found an update which I irresponsibly tried to install into my system without realisation that it would not work on my Australian model system. I think I have lost the software (System boots and just turns black) and was wondering if there was any way I could fix this? Kinda freaking out. Thanks again
  22. I am just curious. I had an AVIC 5000NEX which I could never get mirroring to work even with $150.00 in cables (VGA+Lightning adapter). Almost sure that it was software related. Now I have the 7000NEX with HDMI and mirroring works perfect. I am a little bit afraid that when Pioneer rolls out the Car Play firmware update they might screw the mirroring up because I spoke to a Pioneer representative and they indicated that they don't officially support mirroring, just their "wonderful and intuitive" AppRadio mode.
  23. I have a X930bt running the 3.0001 update. I would like to be able to use an iPhone 5 with this unit. I tried using the apple 30 pin to lightning adapter but the x930bt doesn't recognize the iphone and the iphone doesn't charge. There seems to be instructions on this forum on how to upgrade the x930bt to z140bt - and I was wondering if anyone can confirm that once that is done, does that version of the firmware work with iPhone 5 (or other lightning iPods). Also, the instructions seem to be scattered all throughout the forum, is there a simple step-by-step guide that illustrates ho
  24. Hi, I purchased this unit used without any wire harnesses or sd card. After getting the rca and power harnesses, i finally hooked it up. It powers on, but the screen goes blank. So I figure I need the sd card with the firmware update, but I do not know which version is already on it. So I started with the latest version 4.0, however at 43% It gives me the error code "Code 112 Copying error:|StorageCard|LPUE080|APL2|iGo|ScanSoft|RealSpeakSolo|SPEECH|components|vf_nanna_r40_83swf11_110_..." can't see the rest. So I thought maybe i needed an older version to begin with. So I reformatted the
