Hello, I am not super familiar with all of the pioneer lines; most of the hacked units I see on the forums are the 4 series and up. Does anyone know if my 1770NEX is hackable? It has android auto and a usb port, but no SD card as far as I can see unless it is internal. The firmware file is available on Pioneer's website. I really just want to be able to change the terrible UI it boots to. If anyone has any information about this unit, let me know! Thanks!

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. I made an account on here JUST to ask this question, since I'm not having much luck asking people or searching online. I recently purchased a car and I guess the previous owner had installed a "Pioneer AVH-X5600BHS DVD RDS AV RECIEVER RADIO AV RDS CON DVD". I love the fact that I can use bluetooth to play music from my phone, but I am going to officially lose it the next time I hear that little man yelling at me about the speed limit. Hi AVICers - been reading the forum for a while, but this is my first post. I've got an AVH-W4400NEX that's been installed for a couple of months. I had a hard time getting a 256GB SD card to be visible in the unit -- I'd hit the eject button, push the SD Card icon on the screen, and then slot the card in, but it would just sit there at that point. No matter what I tried, formatting with FAT32 or NTFS -- I couldn't get the card to be seen by the unit. I fiddled with this for a while, and on the last run through, I failed to get the card latched all the way in the slot. I hit the eject bu

I have a problem with avic-f700bt, I've uploaded all sorts of software but all the time it's the same, but from the beginning. I had the original software but it smeared on the initial log, I decided to upload another everything went well but I could not enter AV settings, AV source and everything related to it and after a while was restart and hang on the pioneer log again. I tried to copy different ones in testmode (CE wines) but some were turning on, but AV still did not work the other ones. I uploaded AvicNet 2.1 but after choosing the language, it turns off and hangs on the pioneer log.

Hello, To the best of my knowledge, this F700BT is stuck on Firmware Ver. 1 I’m looking for any help to update my system to a more current version. The device came preloaded with some modifications/ bypasses that made it really smooth to use, until it got stuck on a boot-loop. Awhile back, I found a working link with files to fix the corrupted software, downgrading me back to this base software. My GPS maps have also stopped working. I've tried using the downloads from Pioneer's website with no luck. I’d seriously appreciate it if anyone could connect me with a working set of files to br

Hi, I have the 7200NEX and when you select MAPS it says iGO loading and then it closes. Everything else with the unit is working well. How can I fix this issue? Where is the SD card located? Are there any step by step instructions? Thank you for the help! - Matthew

I have the latest firmware, 5.1 and 2015 maps. I Decided to install my CD-IV202NAVI kit and as long as the module is powered up, i get a nag screen that says my parking brake sensor is connected wrong blah blah blah... If I disconnect the power to the module, it goes away and works like it always did. It's like the new module can see that I'm bypassing the parking brake sense wire. By the way, I'm using the mute wire to pin 1 of the white harness and grounding both the mute wire and parking wire like I was instructed to. (Net install instructions!). Worked for years. Hey guys, i want to thank yall in advance for taking a look at this post. I just recently bought a truck with an AVIC-X950BH pioneer already onstalled in it. When i plug my aux cord into my phone (iphone6+) it gives me an error message saying "viewing of front seat video source while driving is prohibited". I would understand if i was under the dvd mode but i cant seem to figure out why it won't let me play my music through the aux. ive tried going into the settings thinking maybe if i gave it a hard reset it would go back to normal, but the option to reset has been dimmed out (see picture). N

Hey Guys, so heres my issue's, Just got this system '' F900Bt'' online used, really nice fella that sold it to me, had it sitting for almost a yr before he decided to sell it !! So i got it all installed today , me and my brother did it, once everything was good , system powered up to some Italian phrase, sayn something about, '' Attention, screen could be upside down'' i dunno some stupid shit like that.. i Googled and thats kind how i took it that it meant...ahahah after a few minutes stuck on that screen, everything else was also in Italian, alot of the settings could not be acc -

Hello All, If all possible, I need help with the firmware update on my pioneer AVIC-Z130BT. 1. Operating System OS X 10.94 2. I downloaded the latest firmware form pioneer site. 3. Unzipped the file and placed the folder on to my SanDisk ExtremePro. 4. With the SD inserted into the AVIC it recognizes the SD card, but it will not update the firmware. I have ordered the firmware from pioneer, but it will take up to three weeks to get it. If you have a solution to this issue, much appreciated. Thanks, Sabot

So I had my appradio installed and it dmshows only this blank screen. They showed me a new one and it worked just fine. Mine however was unresponsive and none of the buttons worked either. 2003 Lincoln ls please help me out -
I've got an f9bt running on v3, I tried updating to v4 (hybrid) but kept getting map install errors while the files were transferring to the radio. So I cancelled the transfer. The radio came back on fine except now the system startup in progress, please wait box is not going away. I can click on things and they seem to work fine, just the system startup box is always on the menu screen. Also when I click on maps just a pioneer logo comes up, no maps anymore. I'm new to the AVIC game so any help would be much appreciated. Please&Thanks! -

My battery died and my friend hooked up the jumper cables backwards. After buying a new battery my amp fuse and 15. Amp fuse under the hood were blown and had to be replaced. Now all I hear from my iPod and CDs is bass only? The radio works fine but CDs and iPod all I hear is bass. Anyone have any suggestions? Are there other fuses? Please help. I will be so greatful. Thanks all!

Long story short.... Updated the firmware like the instructions said (from Pioneer and utilizing the micro sd)...... Unit was stuck in a permanent reboot mode with no hard keys working. EVEN WHEN CAR WAS OFF AND KEY WAS OUT. After about an hour I had to undo battery terminal so I would put kill the battery over night and the next day..... Now when car is turned on, NOTHING HAPPENS to the head unit. No lights, no power etc........ Any way to until brick, or did I just royally **** myself?
