  1. I know my iPhone 4s won't play video through the iPod cable but couldn't I buy a cable to connect to the av2 input (on the front of the unit)? If I connect a regular 3.5 mm cable to my iPhone, I can hear audio but what kind of cable do I need to watch video and audio from the iPod to the av2 input?
  2. After updating to iOS 5.1, video (movies, TV shows, etc) does not play (audio OK) in Nav mode (app mode plays video/audio fine). DVD plays OK with both Video/Audio working. My Z130 is bypassed. Has anyone experienced this? I wonder if Pioneer is aware of this and is looking into a fix? BT Firmware: 3.22 Service Info. Screen: Version 03.0000 Self installed with bypass hack. Cheers! James
  3. For a few years now, my F90BT has never quite functioned as I had hoped, especially with the bluetooth phone interface. On a very rare ocassion I can successfully transfer an active call from my phone to the radio and continue the conversation, however what happens more commonly is that you loose audio completely in the car and only the call recipiant can hear anything. I've checked the BT compatability and have the latest software, however I am hear rumors that there may be a hackthat I could apply to improve the over all experience here. When I cut the power to the Igniton the call jus
  4. I have been searching many forums trying to see if anyone else is having this problem with their 930bt. The issue that I am having is that the sound I get from connecting my iphone via the pioneer 51 cable is not as good as when I connect my iphone via bluetooth. It sounds much better when connected with bluetooth. Has anyone else noticed this and is there a remedy? Thanks to all that respond.
  5. Every since I upgraded my iPhone 4 ti iOS 5, mt Avic x910 crashes when I try to play a video from my iPhone. I read that this could happen because of the new iOS 5 on the iPhone 4 but not sure. If this is the case, is there a work around? I wanna be able to play netflix and Pandora but am unsuccessful. Also, I recently got a replacement iPod cable as well so I dont know if that could be causing the isse. If there is no work arounds (and Im praying that there is), has anyone been able to play video from the iPhone in the AV2 jack (on the front of the unit)? What kind of cable would I need a
  6. I just installed my Z130bt in my car the other week and have enjoyed it a lot. I am slowly learning some of the more eclectic features and one that came up was, How well does Siri from the Iphone4s work with the Z130bt? I have my Iphone4S attached to the headunit via the Pioneer ipod cable and I am able to listen to music from the phone's HD, Pandora, Mog, ect... but what I would like to be able to do is command Siri to play a certain song, album, or artist. I was able to acomplish this in my old car since I would connect the Iphone4S to my old Pioneer headunit by a 1/8'th inch headphone to A
  7. Can anyone confirm whether AppMode can be used to direct content to the 'video out' (second screen, zone, etc.) on the AVIC?
  8. Ever since I purchased my XB930 my iPhone 4 (iOS5) has been having issues with the volume when streaming through Bluetooth. When I first start up the car and drive with the music streaming from my iPhone the volume is perfect and the quality is spot on. However, when I turn the car off and come back sometimes the volume is extremely low and I have to crank the volume up all the way on the head unit to get it at an audible level. When I do this the quality goes to crap and its still not even that loud compared to what its suppose to be. The only fix I have found and only sometimes works is to t
  9. Okay, so I've had a D3 for several years and absolutely love it but I've never used voice control in the past. I just upgraded to the iPhone 4S and with the improved voice control functions I would like to use this. Every time I try and give a voice command the phone doesn't hear anything. The microphone doesn't register any input on the phone. When I activate voice command, the phone switches the source to the Bluetooth phone source but nothing registers. Is this a hardware limitation or is there possibly something wrong with my bluetooth unit? I've had some issues with the unit in re

I bought a Z2 off of a friend and put it in my 08 GMC Sierra. I realized the head unit had composite a/v inputs. I ran down to the best buy and picked up one of these... Now, I get all of my Iphone 4s audio on the head unit... but with the iphone interface... way better. Not only this... but after I performed the 2 wire bypass (luckily my avic was made after june 07) I found that many apps support video out! Like... Netflix, youtube, even some racing games! I ran just enough of the USB to stick it in the 12v for charging. Pretty cool.
  11. Hey Everyone, Is there a way to watch youtube videos from my iphone on my x920bt unit? I have the cable hooked up and can play videos and listen to music off my phone. But my unit has been very inconsistent on which youtube videos it will play. I have only got it to play a couple. It will play the sound from the video, but will not show the video. Any ideas? Thanks Charles
  12. I have the AVH-3200BT installed in my 03 350z. I have been using the usb and audio jack in the front of the player to play my music/videos off of my iphone 4 while I am driving. My question is, could I use a cable to connect my iphone 4 to the video/audio ports on the back of the unit and stream my iphone 4 screen to the dvd screen? Like could I use that and then use my gps on my iphone and see it on the AVH-3200bt, since it is hooked up through video on the back of the player?
  13. I just updated my iPhone which I use religiously with my AVIC-X910BT to listen to iTunes and watch mp4 videos. Well, the new iTunes update makes it so your videos are now opened in the new VIDEOS app and can't be watched the usual way. Will Pioneer make an update so users can watch videos on the AVIC-X910BT again like before? It's time for an update anyway! Please help..
