  1. I know this is probably more of a software based forum, but I can't get the DVD to eject. This is the first and only DVD that's been in the unit. I thought maybe it was a software bug, as hitting the CD eject icon opens the flip down to 100%, the same level as the SD Card eject button. On other radios usually the CD eject only lowers the screen by 15% or so, just enough to get the CD in/out. The only motor/servo I can hear running is the screen, so maybe its damaged internally somewhere? I opened the unit up and was able to pull the DVD out manually.   2. Hi Gurus of all things NEX I recently brought my wife a 5100NEX for her 2011 Nissan Altima (BIG IM SORRY PRESENT). Anyhow, I have an iPhone 6, and when I plugged in my 6 to her deck to make sure everything was working good, I had 0 problems. So after I showed her the car, and the radio she plugged in her 5s and we took off for a trip down to wine country. Well, about 10 minutes into the drive, the 5100 stopped responding in Car Play mode.   3. Just got the 8100NEX this week and for the most part I'm loving it. Compared to the Kenwood unit it's replacing, the stock features are just miles above, even if the looks/controls are a little weird. Also taking a while to get used to the capacitive screen. iPod control is GREAT. Clicking on artist, album, and genre open up easy "related" searches. I love that if you choose a genre, you have the option to see all the albums in said genre. A-Z search is easy.
