  1. So I bought this Universal Steering Wheel Control. I Have an AVIC-8200NEX. My Question is, Do I Need An Interface Or Can I Wire A 1/8 AV Plug To The Steering Wheel Control And Plug It Into The Remote Port? I'm Perplexed But Hoping It Can Be Added To The Headunit.   2. Hello all, I just got a AVIC-8200NEX head unit for my 2005 Dodge Magnum RT. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phone that I have paired to the head unit. The phone does not automatically connect to the head unit for some reason. I have to manually connect to it by going to the Settings-->Bluetooth-->Connection and then selecting my phone and it connects. There is an option to auto connect and it is set to on.   3. It's been awhile since I've been here, but I want to share what I just went through with my iPhone 6+, and the new iOS 11 and also 11.0.2. updates. I have two vehicles; one with an AVIC-8200NEX, and the other with an AVIC-8100NEX. Both were one firmware version behind, and prior to the iOS 11 update, all was working fine with all functions of Carplay. Once I installed iOS 11, everything went to heck; Pandora, Carplay kept rebooting, etc. Also, a hard failure was that the text-by-voice would not work. I could touch "messages" in carplay, and saw a list of texts, but they were not clickable
