  1. I installed a compact Kicker 11HS8 150 watt subwoofer with my new 8200 unit. The subwoofer is self-powered and connected to the h/u, and I also have a separate amp that is powering the four speakers. However, the subwoofer is very under-powered, even after I set the filters correctly. I have to lower the speakers to -24db and raise the subwoofer to 10db just to get it to marginal levels. Is there anything else to try, or is this subwoofer just too under-powered?
  2. I have a 4100 NEX, when i adjust the equalizer, only the front and rear speakers are affected, not the subwoofer output. It is just me or ?
  3. I recently purchased a used 2008 Ford Expedition EL King Ranch edition. The guy that owned the car before me had put in an aftermarket cd player and removed the OEM (AVIC-XD1377zf) Navigation system. I have since put a used AVIC-XD1377zf Nav system back into the truck. My problem is, I pressed the #3 & #6 and went into the Diagnostics portion of the system and I noticed that my subwoofer is "disabled" and I need to enable it. I suppose the vehicle that my current Nav system was in didn't have a subwoofer, bu my Expedition does. Does anyone know how to get more into the programming of this
  4. Any advice on the best crossover settings to use with a sound ordinance B-8PT? I've currently set them to 80hz both sub and high pass. I've also set EQ for 40 and 80 to flat and adjusted the gain on the sub by ear. I've also tuned the sub low pass to 80 and set it's "bass boost" to flat. I'm more concerned with keeping the sound clean with decent bottom than thumping. Any advice?
  5. Hi all, my first post I have an AVIC 930bt OEM in a 2012 Subaru WRX STI Hatch. I just installed a Sound Ordinance under seat subwoofer and am using the line level sub outputs to drive it. As a result I need the +12v power signal lead to trigger the amp in the sub to power on. According to the install guide for the 930 this is a blue-white lead in the power connector. My problem is there is no blue-white lead. Does anyone know what pin the signal is on. I've tried to find a pin out for the connector on the forums but can't. Thanks in Advance
