I’m having an issue that I can’t seem to figure out and I’m not sure if it’s the radio or the car. I have a 2007 Honda Civic Ex sedan and I have I installed an AVIC-5000NEX. When I turned the key to acc the unit turns on as starts to boot up as normal. When I start the car fully the unit seems to not have power for about 5-10 secs then finally gets power and starts to boot up. I have double and triple checked all connections and they all seem fine. Here is a quick video I made showing the issue. Any advice on what it could be?! Thank you.

Hi, I installed an AVIC-5000NEX in my 2011 Ram 1500 yesterday. I used the iDataLink Maestro to enable steering controls. The firmware shows to be 1.081000 on the head unit from the factory and I am using an iPhone 6 with the latest iOS installed. When I plug the iPhone into the unit(in USB port 1) it immediately recognizes it as an iPod and does not enable CarPlay. What am I missing? Thanks!

I have a 5000NEX unit, I got the adapter in, the vga to lightning as well, connect everything, now, there's one app that works fine, I tested the save on gas app and it works OK, the app sucks, but it works, but whenever I open up waze, it tells me that I need to open up an app that's appradio compatible. Anyone know how to get waze to work on AppRadio mode? Thanks.
