  1. Display screen question

Hi I just got a 2440 NEX radio and was wondering a couple of questions. Is there any way to change the splash screen on this radio? Also that big symbol on the main screen that takes up a lot of the screen is there any way to get rid of that. It's a square box that shows either Bluetooth or has a picture of an artist on HD radio or a music symbol Etc. I put a nice background picture on it and that thing takes up a lot of the screen and want to get rid of it.
  2. Resistive to Capacitive

Can I swap out my 7000NEX resistive for an 8000NEX capacitive screen?
  3. After many months of using my SiriusXM radio on my 8100nex, all the sudden there is no audio at all. All other sources work fine EXCEPT SiriusXM. The display is showing all the songs/titles/artwork. Just NO sound at all. I have tried reseting/restoring the 8100nex, reflashing the latest firmware (1.03) and even cutting power to my car batter to reset. NOTHING has worked to get my sound back on SiriusXM. I heard other Pioneer HUs have had the same problem in the past and it was fixed with a firmware update with those models, but there is no newer firmware than the current 1.03. How do I get my sound back on my SiriusXM on my 8100nex???
  4. Good Afternoon to the East Coasters... I have the Pioneer AVIC-X940BT. What's the deal with the cheesy looking "birds eye view" look on the GPS Navi Display? I have a garmin in my other car and it looks much nicer with 2d/3d roads. How can i setup the AVIC-X940BT Navi so it can show 2D or 3D up mode. Looking at the display this way, while driving is driving me nuts. It would be nice to see it like this all the time. See Pic or link. CHESSY crappy birds eye view: http://www.sonicelec...VIC-X940BT.html This is the view I want: http://www.ecoustics...car-navigation/
  5. dual screens?

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/air-display/id368158927?mt=8 I was dreaming of having total ipad integration with my avic z140bt as a dual screen type thing. What if the avic ran navigation while the ipad did facebook/ ipod stuff and you had 2 screens going. Or having it as a real 2nd monitor and having the navigation and app radio mode apps pan over onto the ipad screen? just an idea also, here's a really cool way to mount an ipad into a tahoe dash. Just sayin'
