  1. Hi all, I recently bought another Avic x1r from ebay, in order to replace my previous unit that was unable to reproduce dvd anymore (mechanism error). Everything was perfect except for the gps. Even using my original cndv 40mt cartography the display said "insert an appropriate disk", but dvd movies were ok...! Please note that the unit went with a burned copy of the cndv 100mt, and the gps didn't work anyway. So, I tried a firmware downgrade following the step-by-step procedure found here, in service mode.   2. Hey Guys, I have an Avic Z110BT that's been upgraded to the Z120 firmware. I've made plenty of custom backgrounds before for myself, but when I tried to use the latest ones I made... I got an error message that says: "Image file read failed" The pics are on a working SD card (my older pics still on it work, and so does all of my MP3s) My folders are setup correctly, as I can see the names of my new jpg files. My image dimensions match my old ones as well (2592x1457) File sizes are all below 2,000KB File names are all alphanumeric (no special characters) Anyone run into thi
