Tried a search but nothing specific popped up. I upgraded my phone to a note 5 from a galaxy 4. I did not consider that they would take a option like mhl away. I only use the appradio with dash command and occasionally navigation since I go a lot of places where cell signal does not exist. What are my options to be able to use those features wirelessly? Chromecast? -
hi all, I got MHL(black) from samsung.com that also comes with 5-11 pin However, when MHL is connected to Samsung S3 GPS signal got cut and data is impacted as well. Take a look how GPS test is impacted when MHL is connected and disconnected video I have X8500BHS and video via HDMI works, but without GPS it is useless. I went through Sumsung support hell and were told that it's normal that GPS and data got cut as I don't need those to watch on TV anyway ... , while another tech said it isn't normal and GPS has to work regardless - not sure whom to believe What MHL adapter do you

OK so I just fixed my deck detecting the iphone and now I have my android. Just installed the pioneer android connection kit (CDAH200C) and the S3 is not connected. Im assuming that the MHL cable within this kit doesnt work? I have to buy one that supports samsung? Anyone else have this setup or do only iphone users use this deck? Thanks guys. SG

So, I just bought an HTC ONE, a little bit of an upgrade from my iPhone 4s. I was wondering what people are using for their setup. Has anyone come across a LONG MHL Adapter? or are we just using short ones with two cables coming out of our dash? Any comment will help! Thanks!

Does anyone know if there is a way to allow the car dock for the Samsung Galaxy S2 to work with the Appradio to with he Android connection kit. I cant seem to ge it to recognize the phone is connected. I have a hunch that its because the dock isnt configured for MHL?
