  1. I removed a 12-volt socket in my car and replaced it with a slick USB/ 3.5mm jack that looks close to factory. I plugged the iPod cord into the USB jack and completed the install. When I plug a USB stick into the jack, playback and lookup on the head unit work just fine. But when I plug in an iphone 4 using a factory 30-pin to USB cord, I can control everything on the phone like normal, but there is no volume.   2. Any help is appreciated. I've looked through what seems like most of the posts here but can't seem to nail down an issue with the tips I see. I purchased a car with the x920bt already installed. The system works fine as far as navigation (dated map) and voice recognition. There is just no sound. No system sounds like bings or beeps, no sound when playing from a cd, mp3, or radio. I removed the system, checked the connections and fuse, and everything looked ok. The previous owner had a amp and sub previously connected but they are not installed anymore.   3. This just happened to me a few minutes ago, I was on my way to work listening to the radio when I just started to hear a little bit of stattic. Nothing bad I thought nothing of it seemed normal for FM radio to lose signal, all of the sudden I looked at my screen and it just dimmed and turned black . The lights at the bottom Volume + - , Mode, Ect. are on but the screen is off.
