tspurks Posted January 1, 2008 Report Share Posted January 1, 2008 Could someone help me determine two problems I am having after installing my D3 this weekend. I have tried the "reset cure all" with no change, trying both the unit reset & the component resets. I have a XM Sat, Bluetooth, & Ipod hooked up to The D3 Per the installation manual I have the Bluetooth first in line from the main unit and the XM Sat receiver second. 1) While playing the XM Sat a "pop up screen" keeps appearing every 30 seconds saying that Channel 001, XM Preview is currenting playing do I want to switch now yes or no? This happens no matter what channel you are listening to, except for Channel 001. 2) When I select the Bluetooth, it says that there is "no connection". I am not getting anything other than a blank black screen. Would appreciate any help/advice.......... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
tspurks Posted January 2, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 2, 2008 Just wanted to tell everyone what a wealth of information there is on this site. To every new, take your time, read through the Q & A and I was able to correct the problems I was having - OPERATOR ERROR. When I was selecting "BT-Tel" I was getting the message "No Connection". You have to select "BT-Tel", then return to the AV Menu and select "Functions" to make the set-up connection. I was expecting that screen to appear after the first selection and maybe it was just me, but the instruction manual wasnt real clear on this fact......stupid me In addition, thanks to everyone who has posted the lock out system bypass info. In less than 5 minutes it was completed and works greats. The bypass has also seemed to correct the problem I was having with the XM Sat repeatedly popping up a screen saying "Channel 001 is currently playing do you want to switch now". Must have been an issue with the parking brake. tspurks, What is the "bypass" that fixed this Channel 001 playing msg? I have that too and it is driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
