Connect power? yes or no

Recommended Posts

I read somewhere that there is an addendum to the iPod controller instructions. It said that if it is connected via the bus cable, then the power and ground don't need to be connected. Any verification on this?

Is it is true, do any of the other modules require their power and ground to be connected. It would be a much cleaner install if all you needed to connect was the bus cable.

Page 14 of Pioneer CD-IB100 install manual show ip bus input and power connections. I suspect the ND-BT! bluetooth adapter is the same. Both need their own source of 12v. Not sure though I'm still waiting for the BT1. FadFusion.com is going to make me wait till next weekend to install. Anyone else have experience dealing with FadFusion.com
