dsf3g
Hey guys, Just renewed my mobile contract and got my first BT enabled phone (Samsung SGH-t429). Now I'd like to add the BT-200 bluetooth unit to my D3, however, I want to know how well it works in a noisy car. I've got a 1992 Toyota MR2 on a performance suspension setup. The car isn't as loud as, say, an out and out a convertible, but is certainly no Cadillac. So does the BT-200 have decent noise reduction circuitry? Also, it is ok to just splice into the power harness for the SIR-PNR2 Sirius adpater? Do you even need external power when you daisy chain units with the IP-Bus? Thanks for any replies. whtcrxghst
My bluetooth works fine in an SUV with way too much tire noise You do have to run power and ground to the Sirius tuner, but you can splice into the main ground wire with no problems
vicious
How is it with the windows down? I have a crew cab diesel truck, so it's not exactly quiet what so ever.
whtcrxghst
I roll up my windows when I want to talk on the phone, too much wind noise with them open
Nomar1245
If you'd really like to add it, and noise is a problem, you could also consider getting some Dynamat. It will make your speakes sound better, and eliminate quite a bit of outside noise. It worked really well for me.
