I DID SOME RESEARCH THAT THE NAVIGATION GPS IS NOT ALL THAT GREAT BUT I DONT MIND... IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD BE AWARE OF?? I READ SOME STUFF ON THEM LIKE NOISE PROBLEMS OR SOMETHING LIKE DAT BUT IT SOUNDED LIKE A CONNECTION PROBLEM. I HAD AN AVIC N2 THAT I LOVED, BUT AFTER SOME TIME, IT STARTED SLOWLY GIVING ME PROBLEMS... LIKE SHUTTING OFF BY IT SELF SO I SOLD IT... SO I JUST DONT WANT TO RUN IN THE SAME SITUATION AGAIN... joe r Posted January 23, 2008 Report Share Posted January 23, 2008 I have had a few nav units & I always end up going back to an AVIC.By far its the best nav for the price plus you can do a search by phone number.I love this feature when I am staying at a hotel & I do a quik search in the phone book for a place to eat.I enter the phone # & we are off heading to the place we have chosen. I have owned, AVIC-N1,N3,Z1,Z2 & Now A D3. I will more than likley be installing the new N4 in my Mini Cooper S. joe r Quote Link to post Share on other sites
