dirttrack25 Posted January 26, 2008 Report Share Posted January 26, 2008 So Im about to buy the D3..Ive already got all of the PAC harnesses that I need, My dealer keeps telling me that installing and programing the SWI-PS isnt easy and I should take it to them because they have years of experience. Is this a line they are feeding me trying to get business or is it really difficult? What is it going to consist of doing? They said I would have to tap into wires in the steering column maybe? And is going to be alot harder to program than what I think. 2003 Chevrolet Ext Cab, No bose, no onstar. Thanks for any help guys! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

cntrylvr79 Posted January 30, 2008 Report Share Posted January 30, 2008 Read only note # 1 in the below chart. If it is blank then skip to next step. The other notes in the chart do not apply to your vehicle. Connect the INTERFACE's Green wire to Tap into Pin B31 (Lt. Green) of the above connector This plug is at the steering wheel column. The plug at radio cannot be interfaced. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's exactly where it is.... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
