Is this the new tuner? and will it work with the D3?

I may return my recent purchase of the PNR2 and get this since its half the price.

 

That's only half what you need. You'll also neeed the pioneer adaptor for it, and it's doubtful that the interface will be any different than the pnr2

Why would they make a new tuner, and make two different pieces for it and it is no better than the old one? :shock:

Hell if I know. I just put the crap in. I don't decide how what's made and how it works.
