mr kleindl
Am I reading this right? In order to get the rebate you have to be activating a radio? You can just buy it and send in a rebate? I already have a radio activated

Ranger
No, I've seen that scam too...When I bought my Skifi 2 Dec of 06 there was a rebate supposedly going on with a radio activation, well I never received that rebate cause of some stupid error in their system and they couldn't find "proof" of the radio. I'd just get a refurbished unit and get free XM, after a year it'll have paid for itself.
Sprawl
not a scam really basically what they're doing is saying "here's a fat $40 cheque.... but you have to give it back to us anyways to start your service". really it's just a $40 transfer. you still spend the 40, but its to XM directly instead of the on the product. it's a marketing gimmick in order to draw you to buy their hardware Don't know about the store. But they wont get my business as they will ONLY ship to canada via UPS. why do companies do that?
