Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD Bypass

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if the bypass on AVH-P4000DVD is just a simple braking brake ground? It looks the same as the D3 but it only has the one wire in the back so the bypass isn't move the cell mute wire and ground that and the brake wire. So does that mean that I can just simply ground the brake wire?

also could someone explain the bypass a little more. I'm really good with electronics and computers I just don't completely understand the car audio lingo.

I want to know if there is a permanent bypass so I dont have to push a button everytime. thanks again.

just get a 528t pulse timer relay and wire it like this. you'll be fine:

Red : splice with yellow harness wire

Black : splice with black harness wire

Black/white :splice into red wire on harness

Yellow :splice with harness black wire

Orange :splice into light green wire on harness

Brown - unneeded
