SIR-PNR2 won't change channels

I bought one of these of ebay and installed it to my AVIC D3. There is power to the unit and the d3 recognizes it but there is no audio and I can't change it off of channel 18. I did unplug the bus cable from the BT unit that the sirius unit is passing through and plugged it back in and the audio came through for a min. and I got it to go to ch 184 once but after that it just started flashing "aquiring signal" fo about 5 min. I shut the truck off and started it back up and it was stuck on 18 again. I haven't been able to make it do anything else since. Anyone else have a problem like this?

Make sure that none of the small pins on the bus cable are bent or moved out of place and the make sure that the cable is plugged into the correct ports.

You sure it's on channel 18 and not 184. If it's stuck on 184 then that's normal with a tuner that hasn't been activated yet.

I had the same exact problem. It was stuck on the last channel that it was on when it was working with no audio. I had to buy a new one. That sucked.

I had this same problem. I opend the box and found the heatsink was loose. I jiggled it and the signal came in so I fashioned a metal spring clip and taped it to the inside of the box which holds the heatsink down firmly when the box is screwed together. Worked for me. good luck!

i had the same problem, my box was fried, had to get a new one.
