big-fokker
Just bringing this one back to the top... I've got an AVH-P4000 on the bench right now, I wired up a relay like pictured above and all is good. A solution like this is much less conspicuous and automated than the toggle switch method. Try it, you'll like it
dm
I just bought an AVH-P4000 and thanks to the tips on this site, I can now "listen" to a DVD while driving and my passengers can watch. I used a 4-pole Auto Relay from Radio Shack (Part#275-226, no 87a, just 85, 86, 87 & 30) and I followed the instructions and picture from this sight. Works like a charm with no switches to mess with... Thanks a million to all
Trey3987
I currently have an amp hooked up to my HU, when wiring up remote wire to the relay will this effect the amp in any way, do I need to wire any different? Thanks
