Although I am nowhere near the Avic east/west border, what happens when you live right on the border and you frequently travel between the east and west side? Does the AVIC keep telling you to change dvds? Needless to say, this concerns only nav units such as the D3 which require a disc for nav functionality. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
cntrylvr79 Posted April 19, 2008 Report Share Posted April 19, 2008 if you're on a route and the map info that stored in the memory doesn't have the info the system needs then yes it will ask you to insert the map d9sc.
