Finding the Bypass switch, help!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,
Im getting my n3 installed tomorrow. I just opened it up to find the sticker and I can't find it. It looks like it is under a piece of metal that has the headunit attached to it. How do you remove it to get under it to get to the sticker for the switch? Someone please help so I can get this before I bring it in! thanks!.

take off the trim ring around the radio and remove the sleeve. on the bottom there is a piece of silver void tape. that voids all warranty.

You may not want to void the warranty before you have it installed. If the unit is defective and you have voided the warranty, you'll be SOL.

unclip the trim ring. It may be tight but it dose come off. then look at the front of the radio. You'll see 2 small screws on each side of the face. those screws are what hold the cage onto the chassis of the n3. Grab a #1 phillips and remove all 4 screws. the cage will then slide off. Turn the chassis upside down and look at the white sticker. Right by where it says pioneer is the cover for the bypass switch.
