cable guy Posted August 16, 2006 Report Share Posted August 16, 2006 I subscribed to XM NavTraffic even though I live in Toronto. Reason is that I do some travelling in the States and thought that it might come in handy while going through some of the cities covered by the service. The Traffic buttons on my D1 are greyed out so I cannot access the "Traffic Flow" etc buttons. Is this normal while in a city that doesn't have the service ? I have plotted a destination through Detroit but still the buttons are grey. Comments ? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

maturola Posted August 24, 2006 Report Share Posted August 24, 2006 Can someone help? Got same exact issue with my Z1, all wires are hookup, including the data cable. Still all traffic bottoms are greay out. I re-called XM to comfirm service and it's activated. What's going on? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
maturola Posted August 24, 2006 Report Share Posted August 24, 2006 Well guys, I just went back to recheck the Data Cable and found that the connector is Broken iside the UNit. I felt it lose when I pulled it out the whole Internal connector came out. I guess my UNit was defective. I will file for a replacement and update the Post when it come back to me.
