It will not play video from dvd format so not sure what the by pass is for. video from the pioneer/ipod video cable there is no dvd drive so you get no dvd video (buy the F90BT) you need to bypass it to use the nav menus without pulling the parking brake
VBLUE42
Yea but 15 minutes later it may do something different. This happened a lot when the bypass for the D3 and Z series was being discovered. Not to doubt you but were just looking for a little more verification. Thanks for the input though.
chrisbulla
I'll let you know if the customer calls back later with any issues, but we took it on a 45 minute test drive and everything worked fine. And, FWIW, I've been installing since 1990 and work at an authorized XXXXXXX dealer.

superjet
The 700 has no gyro, so just grounding the p-brake may work just fine.
VBLUE42
Apparently that has been tried and does not work.
paiintballer05
Apparently that has been tried and does not work. Are you referring to Superjet's bypass or chrisbulla's?
