In case you guys have ran into this. I thought I would share some info.

 

From what I hear, some people are getting denied the discount instore at Al-Eds Retail locations unless they choose for Al-Eds to do the install for $150.

 

This is not the case with the Al-Eds in Costa Mesa on Harbor Blvd. They will honor the discount so you can get the same out the door price as you would online (plus tax of course).

 

I placed an order for a 90BT on Sunday and they said they expect to have some stock this week or next.

 

Hopefully I get mine soon. I have a D3 that's waiting to be sold.

This should not be the case and was not part of the groupbuy discount as given to us by Al-Eds. There was no such condition for any install requirement for a discount to be given. Unfortunately, some of this dealers (this is my first time hearing this incident) are probably unaware and are just taking advantage of some of our members.

 

I hope if the Al-Eds rep is reading this thread to please send out an email or memo to all Socal Dealers and tell them that there is no such condition for an install to be done in order for an AVIC411 member to avail of this discount.

 

I also would like to ask the Al-Eds rep, if possible, to give an actual estimate on when do we expect shipments or stocks of this F series in your local stores. I prepaid mine more than two weeks ago at the Ontario, California store and still waiting to receive mine at this time, which also holds true for most of the AVIC411 members that preordered one.

 

Although you (Al-Eds) are not to blame for this delays, just some updates will suffice and kinda quiet down any "unrest from the natives" :D . And thanks again for giving us this discount

Sorry if some of you guys are getting turned away on this offer. All of our retail stores are independently owned and operated. Unfortunately we can't "force" every store owner to accept this promo, if you run into a situation where the "Avic411" offer is not being accepted please call Travis at (888) 900-8800 and he can direct you to the closest store to you that can hook you up with this discount.

 

In regards to the availability last info we received from Pioneer last week was before any shipments were going to be made they had to reflash/upgrade the software on these units. I would say a minimum estimated arrive date would be sometime in 2-3 weeks. As soon as we have more info or when the units arrive we will let you guys know right away!

As of late Friday afternoon yes. An email was send out by the website to all customers who purchased an AVICF90BT informing them of the delay on Friday. Unfortunately we are at the mercy of Pioneer and when they release the product, and the moment it comes in back orders will be filled.

This info should be passed along to the stores as well. I don't think I would have preordered the deck and made preperations to sell my current one.
