How many times has it happened and what are you doing when it comes up? If it happened more than once, were you doing the same thing each time or did it happen under different circumstances?

 

Also, check the manual and see if it has a troubleshooting or error message section.

Do you have aything connected to the unit? Like an ipod, usb stick, sd card, or an external module? Try disconnecting them and starting the unit up. If it's still happening, My guess is that there's something malfunctioning in the unit.

 

Out of all the error messages it covers in the manual, that one isn't mentioned... Maybe you'll need to contact Pioneer or the retailer about it. Perhaps the unit is bad and you need to have it fixed/replaced?

My unit works just fine, even with voice dialing... except that in the last two days, every time that I try to connect my phone I get a "Fatal Application Error, Program:Tel, Error Code: C00000000Ex or something..." and the unit continuously reboots unit I shut my phone off. It reboots one last time and then works fine with the audio.

So, I figured it out with the help of a Pioneer rep. If you get the illegal operation screen with the phone, delete the device from your cell phone and the head unit itself. Restart the unit and try to connect it like you originally did. This fixed the bluetooth problems. Still not happy with how the rest of the things are going.
